Team Awards 19-20
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: the zinger. efficient scoring, with strong rebounding and D. he is now 25 years old
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Capela. Pretty much same defense as the zinger with fewer turnovers. excited for the +20 pot from the anniversary will come into play during TCs
MOST IMPROVED: Ingram. First year as a starter and he performed to expectations. not there on defense though, still needs to improve. he's only 23 now
SIXTH MAN: Oubre. He's earned the starting role this year. 49% shooter with 3:1 stock:TO
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Dominating around the all start break
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Dropping off at the end of the season
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Sadly none to report
REGRETS: getting injured in the playoffs and not making any moves

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: CJ McCollum - he's really good. I underestimated him. He is a TS god, super efficient, and plays well in a top scoring option role and no as an option. Mantypas is lucky to have him.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: JJJ - I can't wait for him to go through one more camp. He is underrated already a great defender, and with more playing time and one more camp maybe he can be a DPOTY like in real life.
MOST IMPROVED: CJ McCollum - just because he really didn't play the season before.
SIXTH MAN: CP3 - he is still good and playable just a very expensive contract. Came off the bench wonderfully with limited turnovers, good defense, and efficient scoring
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Wiggins - I did not expect Wiggins to be this good in a balanced offense. He is actually a beast. Anyone planning on playing balanced this season should be asking about him especially given his amazing contract.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Not being able to play THT. His scouts were amazing and want to give him some run. Can't wait to supercamp him.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: A massive teardown was probably not the move. I should have ran it back one more year and then deal with the cap consequences. I would say no trade / acquisition of the year.
REGRETS: I regret the teardown and how much value I left on the table, but I am also happy to have all my picks plus extra to be super patient and build my team from the ground up.

SIXTH MAN:

TEAM AWARDS
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER:
Feel like by default this has to go to kyrie but PG put up a hell of an inspired fight. Dropping TO to below 2 and shooting lights out was a hell of an addition to the squad that i most DEFINITELY saw coming and was not dumb luck. But at the end of the day without kyrie this squad would be a small fish in a big pond.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
Eddy curry is still a god damn wagon at the ripe age of 100, averaging 2.7 blocks at this age is amazing and exactly what i needed out of the big fella, lets see if he can run it back this season
MOST IMPROVED:
This is a tough toss up between Bam and Jakob but i think the edge has to go to Jakob. jumping from 1.4 to 2.1 blocks a game while keeping all other consistent is great improvement and i think there is more to come from my Serbian friend (no clue what he actually is). Also He plays even better at the 5 but bam has his shoe laces tied together at the 4 so not much we could do there.
Could also go to PG but that was more of a surprise due to stips rather than improvement
SIXTH MAN:
RODNEY HOOD
fuck you hero i hate your bum ass anyways
BIGGEST SURPRISE:
PG no doubt, i wish i could say that i totally knew him and kyrie would go together like PB and J but that was just a great surprise. Everything about him across the board drastically got better.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT:
Didnt really have any major duds on the team this year but i honestly hoped that Bam would pop a little more with the super camp. guy still has alot in the tank but was slightly disappointed that he didnt become an absolute defensive stud
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR:
Kyrie, nuff said, 2020 Bubble Boyz
REGRETS:

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: DAME DOLLA - the true BALLa in Miami.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Bogut - the round mound of australian rebound and blocks still ROLLING.
MOST IMPROVED: Don't know we truly have one but probably Derrick White showing flashes in the bubble trouney
SIXTH MAN: Derrick White turning into a true BALLa potenitally in the bubble tourney has my eyes OPEN
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Being absolute ass to start the year. But pretty hyped for Knox/Allen
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: The fact we can't win with Dame/Klay/Melo. How much we sucked and pivoting off Klay and Melo so quickly. Smh. Also Biedrins retiring. Would've been great for cap space plus from the bubble tourney he looked like he had more in the tank.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: pretty hyped about Grayson Allen and Kevin Knox for Melo and Gortat. Now time to see how they look going in.
REGRETS: Should've played Biedrins more. Bummed he retired. Also pretty fucking bummed about the 4th pick even though Wiseman should be fun with the right RP allocation (did anyone say SUPAAAACAMP)

TEAM AWARDS
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Jimmy Harden. Dude made his first All-League team with an incredible season his first year in Boston. The first max guy I've ever been able to poach (not counting Kwame, that guy wasn't worth a dime) and thankfully he lived up to it.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Whiteside. He may not have the sexy defensive rating but when he plays we win and when he sits we lose. Best rebounder I've had on the roster in a long ass time (maybe ever?)
MOST IMPROVED: Taurean Prince. What a difference a year and +36 in camps makes.
SIXTH MAN: Eric Bledsoe. Put together his best career year playing the backup 1-2-3. Robbed of his second 6MOTY award.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Ending up with the best point differential in the league. I thought we could maybe crazy 50 wins, but that would be a great outcome. Probably a bit of luck baked in (we were mostly injury free until the post season), but the pieces just ended up fitting better together than I expected.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Losing in the ECF after I realized I had a mistake in my DC and forgot to play Gortat after he came back from injury. Not sure it would have made a difference because KD murdered us but you never know.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Bringing in Whiteside and Bledsoe together. Both super efficient players, have had a crush on them for ages, was really happy to get them if I couldn't get Kyrie from Dallas.
REGRETS: None!
