Notes for "the Other Guys"
Centers
Raef LaFrentz - Good stretch big man. Scores well inside and out. Will get some blocks. Good strength and decent rebounder.
Nazr Mohammed - Very good defender in the post. Good rebounder. Won't contribute offensively.
Robert Traylor - Tractor is a large man with a lot of girth. Decent scoring down low using said girth. Decent defender and rebounder. Very slow. Jump shot is not good.
Keon Clark - Very good defender who will block shots. Handles are a bit of a concern. Solid rebounder. Good quickness for a big man.
Rasho Nesterovic - Built in the prototypical big man vein. Decent scoring down low, good defender, some blocks, good rebounder. Not a lot of upside but should be a good depth big man.
Power Forwards
Al Harrington - Very raw. Doesn't do anything well but has a baseline to be a good player with proper development. Future is likely at SF. Handles are iffy. Decent steals and rebounding. Good upside.
Brian Skinner - Similar to Nesterovic, just with worse handles and higher upside. Plays defense, blocks shots, and rebounds pretty well.
Slava Medvedenko - Good offensive big man with some decent rebounding. Good jump shot. Not a great defender, but might get some steals.
Pat Garrity - Good shooter. Not much else.
Small Forwards
Matt Harpring - Well-rounded player. Decent scoring inside and out. Some steals, solid all-around defense, and above-average rebounder. Handles could use some work.
Ruben Patterson - Very good defender. Should get some nice stocks. Good strength and decent quickness. Not great offensively. Can score a little inside but outside game is severely lacking. Some rebounding.
Tyrone Nesby - Good scorer with some steals. Good handles and quickness. Could be a nice rotation guy.
Shooting Guards
Bonzi Wells - Fun player that does a lot of things. Good scorer on the inside. Good rebounder for a guard. Handles are spotty and outside game needs some work, but could be a nice Inside option guy that's a plus rebounder at the 2.
Cuttino Mobley - Nice scoring potential for Cat. Good shooter. Decent handling and quickness with some court vision. Not a good defender or rebounder.
Michael Dickerson - Polished scorer with limited upside. Some turnover concerns.
Greg Buckner - Good defender with a decent jump shot. Some steals.
Point Guards
Earl Boykins - Extremely quick. Good shooter. Won't pass much. Not a good defender.
Tyronn Lue - Good jump shot. Good handles and quickness. Could be a solid game manager type PG.
Rafer Alston - Good jump shot, handles, quickness. Decent court vision. Should get some steals.
Mike James - Good scoring PG that probably has a brighter future as a combo guard. Could be a nice sixth man type.
Anthony Carter - Decent on the defensive end. Some steals. Offensive game is lacking.
Shammond Williams - Good shooter with some steals. Could be a nice rotation guy.
Centers
