Draft Profile: DeMarcus Cousins
DeMarcus Cousins
Strengths: An absolute terror in the paint. Decent range beyond the arc for his size. Okay vision. Decent defense in the post. Might get a block. Good rebounder especially on the defensive end. Excellent strength.
Weaknesses: Free throw shooting isn't great. A little on the slower end. Handles are bad.
Scout's Take: Cousins is a very good offensive talent capable of threatening on the inside and out past 14 feet. While he isn't necessarily a liability on defense, it is nowhere near his top priority. His offense and rebounding should be stellar and teams and he should be in the mix for top pick.
