Content Grading: Incentive BONI
Update from your local content graders - after the success of the recent content frenzy and general feedback from around the league, we are making a change to our content grading policy to incentivize 1) new article types and 2) new article authors and 3) more content!
Starting this season, everyone's FIRST piece of written content will receive a 1.5X bonus (1.75 for n00bs). First articles of the year that are truly novel (i.e., not direct repeats of stuff people have written in past seasons), will receive a 2X bonus (2.5 for n00bs). The novelty of the article will be evaluated by the content graders (appeals may be submitted but may not always be granted).
Additional notes / FAQs / fine print:
1) Articles will still be eligible for quality content bonuses should they merit such awards.
2) This policy applies only to written articles, not pods or press releases. Pods with novel ideas/structures will still be eligible for quality content bonuses.
3) This policy will be in place indefinitely, resetting every season, but we will be monitoring RP inflation to ensure we keep our monetary situation in check and may adjust the policy if needed per the Iron Bank of Bravos.
4) Articles that have already been posted this season may be counted for this policy if the author so wishes - if so, the author should tag me in the comments on that article stating that they want it counted as their first article, otherwise we'll assume their next article this season will be counted as their first. If they do not, those articles will be graded normally.
