MOST VALUABLE PLAYER:
Julius Randle
Took some pretty massive steps forward. He shoots way way more 3's than I expected and is pretty efficient roughly speaking for a 2nd year uncamped guy. Interesting to learn that he's >85 in Inside and Strength now. Curious to see him at B+ Outside
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
John Henson
He's a traitor but this was a runaway award. John averaged like 3.3 blocks per game and was pretty sick even if he can't rebound at all.
MOST IMPROVED:
Marcus Smart
TOs took a massive dive which was relatively unexpected. Dropped off the top 50 of TOV% and was just solid overall.
SIXTH MAN:
Tyus Jones
Kid had a heck of a season and turned himself into a blue chip trade asset, maybe I should've kept him
BIGGEST SURPRISE:
Tyus Jones
In no way did I see Tyus being that good from jump. I expected he'd be okay in a year or two but came out of the box pretty sick.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT:
Boredom
Tanking just gets super repetitive. Happy to be engaged on my box scores this year.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR:
Stanley Johnson
Don't think I really made any moves so I guess it was trading into the draft for Stanimal. He's up to B+ Outside and B+ Defense already so I'm excited.
REGRETS:

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Terry Rozier. Would've though it'd be the Zinger. But an All star appearance as a rookie is pretty much unheard of.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: I guess Oubre! the 2015 Grizz were not known for defense. But 2.5 stocks for a rookie is pretty solid
MOST IMPROVED: Capela got his boards up to 1.5 a game from 0.9. Not quite at the "multiple boards a game" that were in his notes, but getting there.
SIXTH MAN: Nurkic. Reigning 6MOTY increased his rebounding and cut down his turnovers, i think he's a solid 3rd big now.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Terry Rozier being the best rookie in the draft.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: None. It was a pretty ideal season for me where I lost a ton of games and saw some promising young players
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Terry Rozier in pick 11. Followed by sending pick #31 for the MIL FRP that became NDL Kris Dunn
REGRETS: Not praying to the sim gods more for lotto luck. I really wanted Jamal Murray

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Gilbert Arenas - After the Crawford trade, Arenas stepped in and his per-36 was 24/5 on 47/46/90 shooting with 2.5 steals
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Jason Thompson - 4.3 stocks and 12.8 boards
MOST IMPROVED: IDK
SIXTH MAN: Bradley Beal - His per-36 was 26/5 on 46/44/83 shooting
BIGGEST SURPRISE: N/A
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Realizing my window was up, without ever getting KD a ring
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: LaMarcus for Thompson, JJ, and my 18/19 picks back. I think it was a fair trade, but it was important because it allowed me to shift into selling mode
REGRETS: Trading all my best players

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Zach Lavine - he is a scoring machine who bumped up his effiency from outside with his free camps for memorial day. Looking forward to seeing him progress
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Marcin Gortat - or Gorswat - the man blocked like 3 shots a game
MOST IMPROVED: Jared Sullinger - he came from the NDL and showed he clearly belonged. we locked him up for another two years
SIXTH MAN: Harrison Barnes - he is a slut but he was pretty good off the bench
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Our hot start- kinda made me make some decision I might end up regretting but thats ok
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Sucking post granger trade. I hoped he would continue our push into the playoffs, but we came back down to earth
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Jennings for a FRP - though he is TO prone, he continues to get better and we look forward to seeing him with an A- defense this year
REGRETS: Probably the granger trade cuz i fucked up my cap and let go of Crowder and then Barnes walked, when Crowder signed a relatively cheap deal. Oh well, I learned again sometimes its good to stay patient and stay the course

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Giannis is starting to come out of his shell and I'm so proud of him
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Brook the cook got the look and made everybody shook
MOST IMPROVED: Giannis again. Went from 17 a game to 22 on much higher volume. Interestingly, same exact fg% from the year before
SIXTH MAN: I mean, probably going to go with bledsoe
BIGGEST SURPRISE: I think as a team we did way better than i expected. Starting 12-0 was crazy. regressed a bit towards the end of the season, but sustained 54 wins which was (i think) the most ever
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: I dont think i have any
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: I dont think I made any acquisitions last year lol
REGRETS: no ragrets

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Shaun Livingston. I overtaxed him offensively as the 1 option all last season because we didn't really have another choice, and it worked about as well as it possibly could have. His numbers took a hit but hoping we'll have more help for him next season.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Kendrick Perkins. Perk randomly had a career year after we got him back into Canada. Our defense was really a team effort (we were unusually good limiting threes, which wasn't because of Perk) but having a legitimate defensive anchor back there made a big difference. Don't think we make the leap without him.
MOST IMPROVED: Yaroslav Korolev. Big Yaro was a huge addition for us after becoming a full-time starter for the first time in his career and i think a big piece of why we were good defensively. Hoping he'll remain a big piece of the rotation but he may be going back to the bench as a sixth man.
SIXTH MAN: Willie Green. The Willie Green revival tour was surprisingly fun, I was basically paid by DMo to take his contract so I was pleased to see him keep producing. We moved on from him this off-season but he was a really useful combo guard scorer for us.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Winning 54 games and starting the season 18-0. I thought we'd be a playoff team but I didn't think we'd turn the corner as quickly as we did, much less lead the division rail to rail. So that was fun.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Losing in the first round. Pistons were a tough matchup for us all season and we had to play them due to losing the 1/2 tiebreaker with the Nets, thought we had a shot but lost in seven. No shame getting cooked by Kyrie but it wasn't fun!
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: We rolled out four new starters next to Shaun Livingston most of the season and I think they should all get credit - Perk, Korolev, Otto Porter and Kenneth fuckin Faried who turned out to be a great MLE grab.
REGRETS: None, I tried to swing deals during the season to bring in more offensive help and wasn't able to do it, Jason Richardson helped but didn't fix the offense (unsurprisingly). But that's how it goes sometimes.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: LeBron. Obviously our best player and had arguably his best offensive season last year.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Kobe I guess. Had a couple of 6-steal games down the home stretch.
MOST IMPROVED: Hawes has continued to make small gains that show in season but after a big TC where he went up in outside shooting and defense, he is poised for more improvement for sure.
SIXTH MAN: Will Barton. Really shined in a utility role at the end of the season. Had some good gains this TC so looking for more improvement.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Dalembert seemed to be very meh towards the end of his career in Philly. Unfortunate.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Jamario Moon. Shooting was a liability and the Stocks that I had seen in previous years from him never showed once during his tenure.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Amare... really brought life to the FC at the end of the season. A late, final sim, injury to Bron secured our non-playoff fate unfortunately.
REGRETS: Trading a FRP for Jamario Moon

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Tony Parker - Still playing like one of the best PGs in the entire league. We dont make the playoffs without him.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: DeAndre Jordan, 4:1 stocks, one of the best big butts in the league.
MOST IMPROVED: DeAndre Jordan, think he solidified himself as a top 3 butt in the league.
SIXTH MAN: Josh Howard, what an awesome final season for him, actually pretty surprising he didnt win 6moty
BIGGEST SURPRISE: I think the season as a whole. Brought back the entire championship winning team outside of Danny Granger but we were significantly worse despite no negative camps and Josh Howard being significantly better than Granger
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Very clearly Kevin Love,
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Kawhi for JB and Tyus
REGRETS: I hope Jerami Grant is good but I really regret the DJ trade
