Moving forward, all front loading must be decided on immediately. This is the definitive post on it regardless of what other posts may say.

Q: as a cap space team, are you limited to frontloading contracts when you have room for the highest $ year? or no?

Are you asking, for example: Contract of 10M / 11M / 12.2M, do you need 12.2M in space to frontload?

If so, no you do not. You just need the space for the first year, as per standard FA rules

yeah that's exactly right - wanted to know if I had 12.5 in room, whether I could still offer a full rookie max and then frontload it
