Over reaction to sim 1 block!!!
After deliberation and feeling out pushing in chips to put together a contender this year, I’ve determined it’s best for us be patient and wait for Rui’s super camp and Dwight’s salary rolling off the books before going for it. Plus the chumps rewards sounds super fun and we have all of our picks so going to try to get some fun scouts.
Everyone on my team is available besides Jokic, Rui, and Bonga.
Some really interesting cheap role players include:
Thad Young - efficient mid volume wing who is stock positive in his career. Makes no money
Jordan Hamilton - similar to Thad young but better at scoring and rebounding, worse at defense and handling. Also makes no money on a cheap deal
John Wall - Possession positive at the 2 with efficiency that won’t kill you. Makes 12.5M on an expiring so shouldn’t be too hard to match with no hard cap.
Marquesse Chriss — not really trying to trade him tbh but would do so for multiple futures and a very interesting prospect.
Dwight Howard — still the guy he has been on his career except this time on a modest expiring deal of $30M. Would be willing to deal him for smaller contracts and RP or would use this salary to get paid to take on some bad longer term money.
Overall, looking for future draft picks, youngins’, particularly shooting guards who guard. I’m willing to package any of the above for a fun deal too.
