2024-25 Offseason Questionnaire
1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
Was gonna be stuck with 1 of Tre/Kasparas/Sorber at 10, fine with Tre. Would've love to grab Maluach at 8. Yaxel looks pretty nice after a TC and should be solid in the NDL. Liked the value around the teens. Was very into both Frenchies in Phoenix
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
We wait for Scoot, but he looking nice. maybe we can win 62 this year
3. Thoughts on TC?
Old guys got worse. Important guys got better. Edey hit A-/A-. Scoot looks incredible.
4. Who wins each division and why?
Atlantic: Magic - cuz we did last year
Central: Raptors - I got good betting odds when everyone will go Bulls
Midwest: Rockets? - I think they're the only ones trying to win the division
Pacific: Sonics - Somehow they got wildly underrated
5. We are entering the 30th (!) season of SLN. Give us your franchise's Mount Rushmore — not necessarily the best players, but the four guys who have meant the most to your organization historically.
Yi Jianlian - Al Jefferson - Rui Hachimura - Kawhi Leonard
6. As we begin the 2025-26 season, we have also officially entered...the future. Give us one bold prediction for this season not involving your own team.
Raptors win a lot of games and jwoo still is mad or is that not bold? How about...4+ teams flip into a tank by the deadline
7. The addition of the tanking rules has already made an impact on the trade market. Come up with one fair trade to help improve at least one of the Timberwolves, Nets, Sixers or Pistons.
Semi for Galloway, Ace, MIN 29/30/31
Wemby for NJ 26-31
Ayton for PHI 26/27 and Sirvydis/Stan/Keon
DBook for Haliburton/Gary Harris/Bilal and DET 30 swap with TOR
8. Which SLN GM would you elect as pope and why?
Jordo, friend to all peoples
9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
Europa League final is cool?
10. Movies, TV, books, games, whatever recommendations.

'24-'25 Offseason Questionnaire
1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
Obviously disappointing dropping from 1 to 5 for the second time with a generational talent at the top (Yao). But I think DQ was a nice consolation prize. A guy built in that mold, Sabonis, just won a chip and I think DQ can be a winning player. It was a cool top 5, Edgecomb is a good fit in Portland, and Harper is gonna be a dog.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Walking away with KP and Scottie would've been the dream but getting KP despite his age is exciting. I think the idea of 'matching windows' goes completely out the door with the new tank rules and limits what I would trade KP for (Ascending young players). I have another max slot for next FA and we stay sucky enough to be lotto contenders.
3. Thoughts on TC?
Good all around. Everyone seemed to bump up where it counted. Black went from C+ to B outside and flat A defense and stayed A pot. Dick was over 85 JS and got a big boost to 3pt then +10 inside and got strength and handles, im excited to see his volume jump. DQ also went +2 after getting pumped inside.
4. Who wins each division and why?
Atlantic: Magic
Central: Bulls
Midwest: Nuggets
Pacific: Clippers
5. We are entering the 30th (!) season of SLN. Give us your franchise's Mount Rushmore — not necessarily the best players, but the four guys who have meant the most to your organization historically.
The OG Chris Webber, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Love and Devin Harris.
6. As we begin the 2025-26 season, we have also officially entered...the future. Give us one bold prediction for this season not involving your own team.
More teams decide to tank than people think.
7. The addition of the tanking rules has already made an impact on the trade market. Come up with one fair trade to help improve at least one of the Timberwolves, Nets, Sixers or Pistons.
I think the pistons should work out a Booker for Hali deal.
8. Which SLN GM would you elect as pope and why?
Tyler, hes the GM god and would probably find the solution to end world hunger and poverty.
9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
GO NY GO NY GO! Fuck those boston bitches.

'24-'25 Offseason Questionnaire
1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
I had the top 4 as Flagg, Harper, Bailey, Edgecombe. Thought those 4 were in a tier of their own. Surprised to see DQ taken at 5 but after Pre#1 he's looking very nice. No picks this draft so didn't dig in to the middling prospects.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Feel great about retaining LeBron and Skal, had a certain amount we could offer between the two and still have enough for a MLE and min guys. Goal is to compete for a championship, we still have a nice mix of younger still improving guys and older established vets. Would trade an established guy to pivot a little younger if the right opportunity comes around
3. Thoughts on TC?
TC was fine, no major changes. Ant and Udoka ticked up in rebounding. LeBron got better at defense.
4. Who wins each division and why?
Atlantic: Bullets, Magic will be tough after Edey's nice camp but still think we're the best all around team
Central: Bulls, so much offensive firepower. If the Raptors make a move to improve the backcourt they could take it. Their frontcourt looks incredible
Midwest: Rockets, looks like its the Hanessian's year. Rockets have great starting lineup, be interesting to see what they do for depth. Is Paolo useful at all?
Pacific: Sonics, very solid team and after the Suns and Kings slightly pivoted down they're prob the best
5. We are entering the 30th (!) season of SLN. Give us your franchise's Mount Rushmore — not necessarily the best players, but the four guys who have meant the most to your organization historically.
Anthony Davis - Ray Allen - Kevin Durant - Gerald Wallace
6. As we begin the 2025-26 season, we have also officially entered...the future. Give us one bold prediction for this season not involving your own team.
Twolves AND Hornets make significant trades
7. The addition of the tanking rules has already made an impact on the trade market. Come up with one fair trade to help improve at least one of the Timberwolves, Nets, Sixers or Pistons.
Dereck Lively, Zion, Den 26, Nets 26 for Anthony Davis. Zion comes back home
8. Which SLN GM would you elect as pope and why?
Jesse, his experience from all sides of sim league basketball helps him suggest ideas/rules that are in the best interest of the league/Catholic Church.
9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
Caps playoffs are fun. These NBA playoffs have been amazing even with no strong rooting interest in any of the teams. Steph will end his career more highly regarded then LeBron. Commanders are the newest NFL dynasty.
10. Movies, TV, books, games, whatever recommendations.
Still dabble with some Rivals. Need a new TV show so hopefully some other GMs drop some good recs

'24-'25 Offseason Questionnaire
2024-25 Offseason Questionnaire
1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
Was very happy for the Nets winning the lotto. Felt OK about how we made out and was glad to squeeze some value out of the draft capital I had due to roster spot limitations. Excited about Kasparas and Traore (latter of whom I scouted and will send to the NDL with my sorry kid and pray). I sold 17 and 18 and really nice prospects ended up falling into that range, but no ragerts, trying to consolidate/hone in on the roster needs as we're still young and have more picks coming.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Wasn't sure what we were gonna do but hoping that our super positive TC breeds some immediate improvement. I camped handles for literally everyone I could. Still eyeing a trade or two to upgrade and hoping to nail a move down before the season starts. I'd like to win as much as we can with Amen and IJax on the last years of their contracts, see if we can make it interesting now that the Wemby buyout is finally off my books.
3. Thoughts on TC?
I would love to keep Wemby and Amen together forever. Was most excited to see the other guys really pop — CMB has had two insane TCs and Traore had an awesome Y1 pop that I hope spurs him into a sick NDL career. Have gotten a lot of good luck with these young fellas last few years but need to turn it into some results.
4. Who wins each division and why?
Atlantic: Magic, I don't see them taking much of a step back with Edey really emerging
Central: Bulls, I would have picked us because I always pick us but Chicago has a ton of firepower and will be fun to box score watch
Midwest: Rockets, I didn't love punting on Risacher but I do think Nolan has done a nice job upgrading the roster, this division is still pretty thin on paper
Pacific: Sonics, I don't think it's discussed enough how insane the Brunson/LaVine combo is. Kings and Suns shuffling things, gimme Sonics odds
5. We are entering the 30th (!) season of SLN. Give us your franchise's Mount Rushmore — not necessarily the best players, but the four guys who have meant the most to your organization historically.
KG, Boogie, Terrell Brandon, Antonio Daniels. Wemby and Amen, you gotta earn it fellas
6. As we begin the 2025-26 season, we have also officially entered...the future. Give us one bold prediction for this season not involving your own team.
The Suns blow it up and move up in the lottery, Peterson selects Peterson
7. The addition of the tanking rules has already made an impact on the trade market. Come up with one fair trade to help improve at least one of the Timberwolves, Nets, Sixers or Pistons.
Giannis and Galloway for Zubac, Jrue, Oladipo, DFS and a couple picks
8. Which SLN GM would you elect as pope and why?
Clint, a hispanic pope would be huge for representation
9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
Went to a couple games in April and Wrigley is very fun right now. Keeping my Bears optimism bottled up deep inside
10. Movies, TV, books, games, whatever recommendations.
Thunderbolts was fun but maybe a little too well-received
Bonus: add a pic/gif of how you feel about your season

'24-'25 Offseason Questionnaire
2024-25 Offseason Questionnaire
1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
I was hoping for Maluach to fall but he didn’t so I had to jump up and get the next best big in Sorber, hoping his age and pot fit my young core. I think the Illinois kid is going to be good, Fears is a sleeper candidate, and obviously Flagg is going to be a monster. Also Harper already looks like Lonzo light which is good for Tyler and the suns
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
I’m glad we retained Franz though could’ve done it a bit more costly but that’s ok we’ve learned the hard way underpaying guys. We have a poopy roster with no bigs so we are going to be bad. Hopefully good lottery luck.
3. Thoughts on TC?
It was a bit of a whirlwind. Ausar looks nice but lost a step on D. Was hoping for more from Franz and his high B pot. Shaedon Sharpe looks pretty nice so that’s fun and Sorber still shows an A pot which is great after his only +1 TC.
4. Who wins each division and why?
Atlantic: Magic - full year of KD + Rui and edey looks nice
Central: Bulls - Luka + Joker is ridiculous
Midwest: Rockets - they made some nice moves and the division still poopy
Pacific: Sonicks - they seem to be the team to beat even though the Kangs just won it all
5. We are entering the 30th (!) season of SLN. Give us your franchise's Mount Rushmore — not necessarily the best players, but the four guys who have meant the most to your organization historically.
Paul Pierce , Eddie Griffin, Zach Lavine, Kerry Kittles
6. As we begin the 2025-26 season, we have also officially entered...the future. Give us one bold prediction for this season not involving your own team.
The jazz finally blow it up and reap the benefits from there being not many sellers (cavs are sellers but we don’t have much of value to sell)
7. The addition of the tanking rules has already made an impact on the trade market. Come up with one fair trade to help improve at least one of the Timberwolves, Nets, Sixers or Pistons.
Cavs trade Strus to pistons - he slots in as starting SF or SG and helps them make the playoffs. Oh whoops that already happened. Feel like the Twolves could use some wings, maybe they bite on Colin Sexton from me for close to free
8. Which SLN GM would you elect as pope and why?
I’m not sure, someone that’s catholic because I know we don’t have too many of those lying around lol
9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
Nova did ok in the transfer portal, hopefully the new Villanova pope helps spark some buzz. Redskins had a good draft. Praying for good lottery bounces for my wizards
10. Movies, TV, books, games, whatever recommendations.
Righteous gemstones is so good and outrageous. Trying to get into the new daredevil but it’s been a bit slow. Conclave was very good but the ending was about as unrealistic as it gets. Godzilla Minus One was peak movie watching
