2011-12 Team Awards
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Monta Ellis (2nd team All-SLN, 2nd team All-Defense) - No All-Star? Hmm hokay, Monta chose revenge hitting new career highs in MPG, FG, FGA, FG%, FT, FTA, 3P, 3P%, SPG, PPG. None of you ever speak about him and at this point its comical. He is the Warriors, he is the King of the Bay. He produces like a premier player and im ecstatic he is a Warrior.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Monta Ellis (2nd team All-Defense) - My mans is lockdown and is able to pressure opposing guards into submission. He had 2.6SPG this past year, never coming above 2.3 previously. Dude was on a mission this year and he was rightly rewarded for what he did on the court.
MOST IMPROVED: Blake Griffin - Uhm i knew he could score and board but damn did he really take hold as the second option. I think he is still lowkey a turnstile but he really took it to another level this past year. Truly looking like a future superstar.
SIXTH MAN: Andray Blatche - Blatche is always there. No matter what happens, he comes in and produces. Love me some Blatche in the Bay
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Tobias Harris - My guy is a primo board man, and in his rookie year avg per 36 looked like he is actually going to be good! Honestly that switch to SF out the gate and his defense increasing because of it was amazing to see. We love Tobias
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Brook Lopez - Is he too slow? His defense should be soooo good but he somehow averages 4 DQs a year. I have pumped +16 into rebounding and nothing. Does he need to be an option to do anything of value? Im lost. Also TF is up with all of his injuries. Nothing i change in regards to speed or pressure changes anything.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Andre Miller - RIP forreal, i loved me some Andre.
REGRETS: N/A

2011-12 Team Awards
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Klay Thompson. 20 PPG on 40% from 3P with decent TO in his first season. Great start.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: None. This team gave up a billion points but kinda needed them too. If I had to pick someone, John Wall's 2.2 Stocks probably.
MOST IMPROVED: Jonathan Wall. Turnovers still need to come down but overall game looks good
SIXTH MAN: Jodie Meeks. My man is 45% from 3P or better most of the season but couldn't get him to shoot more.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Wall scoring. Klay coming in hot out of the gates.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Taj lack of stocks and shooting percentage compared to his time in NDL. Probably wanted to see a tick more from Faried too but just year one.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Trading down last year with Minnesota to net me Dame. Didn't love the Morris twins and it panned out (though I got fucked on the lotto in general that year).
REGRETS: Also not being more active. 2.5-3 weeks on the road for work last season and trying to set up a move was tough.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Derrick Rose. Ticked up in ppg and fg%. 25.5ppg is pretty solid but would like to see even more.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Malik Allen. Not sure he was worth a juicy first especially considering that I wasn’t even close to making the playoffs but him not retiring and offering to resign made it a little easier to stomach. 3.8 stocks.
MOST IMPROVED: I guess Jeremy Lin? Didn’t have any massive improvers but his fg% and 3p% improved and took care of the ball a little better. He’s a bit tough to judge because the linsanity period dramatically shifts his stats so much.
SIXTH MAN: vooch was a little better than I expected I guess. Played about 20mpg shot 47%, 8 points, 7 boards and 1.4 stocks
BIGGEST SURPRISE: lack of improvement for demar. Think he came out with a solid ratings boost post SC and had a big preseason. I need more than 19ppg out of him. Maybe I’m not using him the best.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: missing the playoffs once again. Wasn’t close at all so I wasn’t insanely disappointed but just thought it might’ve been time I made a jump. Maybe this year.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: through a series of trades I turned mahinmi in 950 rp and a late first. Unfortunately that first was the bulls so not too sexy but was happy with the rp return
REGRETS: none! On to the next season
