1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
Really fun draft. Ashes is completely in his bag with the new classes. I thought Miikka should've gone #1. He projects to be a stud. The McCoy stip is the most interesting stip and a complete blackbox but I would go +24 lbs because of fun! I loved my draft... I had SWA and Meleek as top 5 players and were able to snag them at 7 and 9. AJMB is just a fun name and guy I needed to have.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
I may try to pivot to winning if their are value in the deals. Come get my 28 and 29 picks now because they are for sale for the right players! I want to see growth and development from all my young core!
3. Thoughts on TC?
MASSIVE DEVELOPMENT! Lot of top prospects.
4. Who wins each division and WHY?
Atlantic: Magic. If they can keep Jamal, same team returning.
Central: Raptors. Added Fultz to an already staked core
Midwest: Mavs. Luka is the best player in the league and is surrounded by his best supporting cast in his career.
Pacific: Suns. I know they are retooling but still the best in the division especially with Kings and Sonicks taking a backseat.
5. Name a deep cut player stip from league history that you loved.
The Darko stip! Still one of the bigger question marks if he got picked higher... and Lebron honestly didn't turnout to be the king that was promised.
6. Who are the top 5 most valuable players in the league right now (include age, production, contract - no rookies)?
Luka, Wemby, LaMelo, Fultz, Turner, AG, Rui, etc. Lots of great players around the league
7. Who's the most underrated player in the league (can't be on your own team)?
Sabonis! He's still the most underappreciated player in SLN
8. What was the best deal/move you thought any single team made for their franchise this offseason and why?
Weren't many trades except for the Brunson and Jokic trades. I think the 76ers got a good deal for Jokic and understand why Jwoo got off of him. I really liked the Brunson for Miikka trade. Miikka is going to be so good and Brunson is also a stud.
9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
Giants are a playoff sleeper this season. Best defensive line in football with Abdul. Don't understand how the Knicks fired Thibs without a plan, doesn't make sense. Liked their signings though.
10. Movies, TV, books, games, whatever recommendations.

This was a fun draft - lots of interesting players. Like others, I’m really curious to see the McCoy stip play out since it’s so unique.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
I was glad to have been able to buy into the draft. Otherwise, looking for ways to keep improving around the edges. I like our core but want to keep building depth and will really need to keep looking for a potential major upgrade at the 3 if I can find one.
3. Thoughts on TC?
Hoping to see a little more positive growth from my core. Most of my guys are still young enough that I could see a couple having continued positive jumps
4. Who wins each division and WHY?
Atlantic: Magic. The champs should still be great
Central: Pistons. This is our year
Midwest: Spurs. Their key guys are all back (including Bron!)
Pacific: Suns. Returning their core, with the rest of the division not really improving?
5. Name a deep cut player stip from league history that you loved.
BBB. Maybe not the deepest cut. But I enjoyed the LaVar era and thought that was a fun one.
6. Who are the top 5 most valuable players in the league right now (include age, production, contract - no rookies)?
DJJ - stock monster and unsung hero of the SoNicks on a great contract
Haliburton - he’s a mostly offense-only player but he’s so efficient and has decent volume and he’s on a very cheap deal.
Isaiah Jackson - big ol butt on a nice long-term deal.
Looney - the perpetual $1mm man
Jaden McDaniels - stocky wing. Shoots a bit more than you’d want and not a great rebounder, but otherwise nice and on a cheap deal.

I feel like the Hawks are going to be nice with Lively. They didn’t actually give up a ton to get him.

Fun season for the Cubs. Haliburton still makes me sad and losing Turner to the Bucks was another blow to my Pacers.

I’m working through watching / rewatching the NYT Top 100 movies of the 21st century. Just rewatched The Hurt Locker the other night. I forgot how good it is.

Loved the first two guys at the top… think Meleek will be a really nice player. Ponder had hilarious notes. Fun draft!! Curious to see how a redraft would look in 7 years.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
We gave $158M and a shooting camp to MPJ so mixed feelings!! Unfortunately with 8 teams with cap and having recently been burned by Simmons, Bonga, etc. we couldn’t afford to lose MPJ. He is an amazing power forward or super sub and his TOs plummet as a non option. Sad to trade Okogie but I’m stoked to get Oubre, Wiseman and TJD! We should be a super deep team now, unlike last season.
3. Thoughts on TC?
Need Dylan Harper super camp to hit!! I’m hammering his offense, giving him +10 jumper, +11 3pt, +10 handles with the freebie so trying to develop him as a high quality point guard. Hoping to see a Reed Sheppard with less turnover result.
Also MPJ better have some pot left in the tank!!
4. Who wins each division and WHY?
Atlantic: Magic. Best team in the league by a good amount.
Central: Hmmmm. Imma predict Luka moves teams, the raptors don’t appear to want to pay for a good point guard and no longer have Jokic, the Hornets are headed towards a tear down. Give me the LIVELY Hawks or Pistol hot Pistons.
Midwest: Spurs should be better than last year with a full season of LeBron. Grizz with a full season of JB should be super sick too.
Pacific: gimme Los Suns. Hoping our entire team doesn’t die for half the season and we win lots of games.

Peja’s stip that he could go to the NDL to keep the tank rollin for the Sonics. That’s basically a sorry kid but without the gains? Maybe they were dimished? Idk but that was the first NDL star so it should be memorialized.

Luka — best player in the league

I would have drafted McCoy #1. Too tempted by those hidden rewards to take anyone else. A lot of interesting guys in the early teens. Sylla looks borderline ready to play in SLN already, hopefully a year or two in the NDL will get him up to starter level.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Sad we couldn’t poach anyone before AD took his deal. The east looks like it could be even better than last year. I think we may be forced to transition a little younger and retool soon.
3. Thoughts on TC?
Would be nice if Maxey and Ant made some jumps since they’ve stayed flat the last couple TCs. AD keeping it steady.
4. Who wins each division and WHY?
Atlantic: Magic with Knicks close behind. Reigning champs still have an elite squad, no reason to see them taking a step back. If Kyrie and Turner can stay healthy I think they’ll be within 3-5 games of the Magic.
Central: Raptors decadeBulls. Lukas still the current best player in the league. This division will be a gauntlet this year, Raptors still very good even without a solid PG, Hawks getting better, Cavs forced to get to .500/playoffs
Midwest: Spurs. Reigning MVP LaMelo is elite. Derik Queen poised to make a TC jump. Old man fuckface LeBron still kicking it. Solid roster
Pacific: Suns. Sonics took a step back trading Brunson. Kings are shuffling stuff around and have no clue how to judge them. Suns back court of Fultz/Oubre is very good.

The gotta catchem all stip was super fun as a pokemon fan. Kudos to Ralph for getting them all together and turning Marvin Williams into a stud.

Jalen Suggs doesn’t get talked about too much. He’s a very good PG

76ers bringing Jokic in for not much was a fun gamble to see what his team can do. A starting lineup of Suggs/Ingram/Gelo/Maluach/Jokic is fun.

Wiz couldn’t even lotto right but still excited to see Tre Johnson have the green light for 20+ shots a game. Jayden Daniels makes thinking about football fun again. Nats cleaned house and are in limbo.

I liked how weird this draft was and was super happy to get McCoy, some boom/bust potential but will be an entertaining experience which made it a no-brainer. I would have taken Stokes 1. Thought 5-10 was pretty flat but the depth was sort of interesting, excited about this Anthony Thompson guy we got, also liked Caleb Holt and Sayon Keita as sleepers later on.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Incomplete so far, knew I wanted to move Jokic and I had a feeling I was going to lose Lonzo so it is what it is. Will eventually address point guard in some way, but am OK with being thrifty and just seeing how much we improve internally in TC and maintaining flexibility. I expect we'll be a bit worse but I love the core guys and am not that worried, just want to see what Wemby and Amen can do as they get older.
3. Thoughts on TC?
Important TC for us just because so many of our guys are 25 and under still, very curious how it's gonna go, banking on internal growth to keep us sharp.
4. Who wins each division and WHY?
Atlantic: Magic, best team in the league and it doesn't feel very close
Central: Raptors bc culture
Midwest: Spurs, love their top eight guys and the way the parts fit
Pacific: Suns, everyone else in that division seems to be taking a half-step back

Really like Constanza. Really wish I could send him to the NDL. Losing the coin flip and having to pick 10 instead of 9 was still a dick punch because i really liked Meleek Thomas and felt there was some real fall off after pick 9. SWA scares the shit out of me though too. We shall see how he does.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Terrible lol. Just had to overpay for otto porter because of the tank reset. Really wish it had been Semi instead (I tried!). Feels like the tank reset rule was not meant to punish a team who missed the playoffs by a game two years ago and got ass fucked by a James Harden injury all of the previous season. But alas rules are rules. We're still a piece short but hopefully can find some depth bigs and could use Amari Williams being a playable big. Will be curious how Tacko does with more minutes.
3. Thoughts on TC? Sengun +5 freebie could really help. Would love some more development from Montero as he's just 23 and got #paid. Now need Porter to hold on pretty good. Would like to see Amari Williams limit the TO and he can be a real difference maker as depth.

Didn't pay a ton of attention to the draft, even though I had a pick for the first time in a while. Pulled a "Matt Special" which is getting enamored with a guy in the 14-18 range and pulling the trigger and then immediately realizing that he isn't NDL eligible. That's ok Karter we believe in you! Who needs NDL gains??!
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Pretty quiet offseason for us.
Sike! Crazy offseason! Didn't think I'd be pulling the plug so soon but Hoff came correct with a legitimate offer for the best player in the league and i think we found a win win. This season our goal is to get the young guns a lot of run and try to figure out what we need going forward - if the flattened odds happen to bless us with a top pick I wouldn't hate that either.
3. Thoughts on TC?
Would love to see a pop from Nate the Great and Dash Daniels! Other than that a little bit of progression from Karter Knox and Hudson Greer would be welcome sights for sure. Fun to have stuff to root for in TC again!

Think the top 3 are going to be nice. Very excited to watch the McCoy weight project. Happy to grab the best scouted outside guy in the second round and a young big at the end of the first. Didn't follow the draft too close since i was pretty set on moving my pick
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
I think we did solid. Was very lucky to move up to 2 to use the asset on Brunson + co. Think we will have a much deeper team this year with an absolute go to guy in brunson. People are saying the fit between him and Black isnt there, I am excited to see and think black can cover for brunsons defensive shortcomings. Hoping to reset the tank clock and get in the playoffs
3. Thoughts on TC?
Hoping for a monster Dybantsa TC. If he pops, I think we can be scary. Hoping for continued improvement the other young guys and for Brunson to hold or get better, he is showing a B pot.

Tomas Satoransky was a SG that could play PG and though this is a common stip, I fucking love Sato! For actual deep cut stips, I thought Wade's hometown hero one turned him into the best SG of all time (controversy, yes ahead of Manu, fight me)
