Congrats Hoff! I voted Hoff, Bobby, then Tyler (sealed my fate with that one huh, ethical voting baby!). Hoff put his nuts on the line with his major deals. Proved Luka is very much worth the steep price. I liked Bobby’s moves in both FA and deals, though did not love the price paid for Okogie, almost had him at 1. Tyler wheeled and dealed and almost made some late moves into the finals.
Jwoo deserves a ton of too for his Fultz move but felt like he was playing with house money due to his treasure trove of assets which is why I had him 4th.
Good season all

Thanks guys! A real honor as always. Thought there were many deserving candidates especially with what felt like one of the more competitive seasons in SLN history.

I voted Mantypas, Hoff and JWoo. To go from drafting at 2 to a top tier team in the league is worthy of a vote imo. I think what made this Cavs year fun was how the pieces ended up fitting together. I wasn’t too sure how the Brunson move would pay off and him and AB are the perfect complimentary backcourt. Ausar might be the best player in the league and Mantypas was able to build a true contender without parting with Dybantsa.

Voted for Hoff because of his deadline moves. When the first wave of moves didn’t land like he expected, Hoff put the nose to the grind stone and churned deals to build an amazing team. His Jabari trades were sick and JB was the perfect fit in Dallas.

Jwoo added the perfect piece in Fultz and was a big win for the squad that should be contending for titles for years to come. Love the state of the league!

I went Hoff, Mantypas, Jwoo. Hoff traded nearly all his assets for a couple superstars which took balls. Had some unlucky sims early on and was able to adjust to build a real contender. Mantypas was in the awkward spot of being forced to compete with still an incomplete team. He made a move for Brunson which I wasn't sure was going to work out next to AB but it clearly did. Also picked up Drummond to solidify his front court. Jwoo’s Fultz trade was amazing and upgraded (to a top 3 player at the position) his only weak spot on the team.

Voted for Manty, was impressed by his turnaround and the way the Cavs ultimately clicked so well as a group, some nice fringe adds like Keldon Johnson and his team is overall still quite young - 54 wins was an awesome benchmark

Lot of awesome candidates this season but ultimately went Bobby, Jwoo, Manty

I think if Bobby had better injury luck this season he would’ve gotten a hell of a lot more votes but I thought he went out and got some studs to pair with probably the best rookie contract player in the league since Kyrie.

Jwoo made what I thought was by far the most impactful trade of the season by grabbing Fultz. One of the hardest things to do is go from 50 to 60 wins.

I also loved what Manty did this year, from 2nd overall pick to best season in franchise history I love what the Cavs have built.
Aint too pretty in the face but, but she super thickkkk...Im just thinking with my DICK - Kevin Gates, Spurs Super Fan.

I voted Manty and didn’t think it was close for me. He set the franchise record for wins by a wide margin, had home court advantage for the first time, and did it without moving the key core pieces on his team retaining an ability to be sustainable. In addition, he did it with a roster that this entire league seemed quite certain to be a fool’s errand in playing Brunson and Black. Not only did he prove people wrong, but he created one of the cooler team builds we’ve seen in a gritty defense first steal yo ball squad

Voted for Jwoo. Dynasties are hard to build and I don't know if I have seen a team better setup to dominate for a ~decade in SLN.

Ranked Mantypas, Hoff and then Bobby (and would have put Jwoo 4th, a strong campaign from him also).

Huge YoY turnaround for Cleveland, and outside of identifying the right trade targets, Mantypas figuring out the optimal DC with two PGs in the backcourt and then bridging the rebounding gap with Drummond was a nice bit of GMing. TBH, a bit of a vibes pick too given the significance of this season in Cleveland's history. Hoff was the classic flip switch case - he put together an incredible team, I think the only reason I had him in the 2 slot was that I didn't love the raw value in a couple of the deals, but there's no question that those moves were the right ones to create a championship contender (and he had the assets to spend so whatever). Loved the big swings from the Clippers also - I think Bobby would have ended up higher up this list if he didn't get fucked with the Clarke injury early on, but he was still able to pull off the division title nonetheless. I thought he didn't give up much to get one of the best players in the file in Semi, and is cool to see him capitalize on an early breakout from his rookie deal PG.

i voted for manty and for many of the reasons above. i wasn’t skeptical of the Black/Brunson combo but i am a believer in believe-land. Brunson for the 2nd overall pick was ballsy - knowing that Miika or other great prospects were there - and they outperformed expectations. grabbing drummond was a massive move to take Mantys team from might be good enough to compete to a scary team that competes with nearly any team. some great candidates this year but was most impressed with Manty in Cleveland so ✅.
