Changing this FA contract situation with NDL.

If you don't offer them the qualifying offer, you lose bird years.

This means you need to have cap space or use LLE/MLE to offer for your guys that you didn't extend a qualifying offer to. Otherwise, use the qualifying offer or re-call them the season they'd expire.
