Strengths: Pierce might be the best overall scorer in the draft. Capable of finishing inside and outside, he is a ball-dominant threat on the court. Solid defender who can get some stocks. Pretty strong and rebounds the ball well.
Weaknesses: Not overly quick. His handles are a big concern. Might not be very good guarding quicker 2 guards.
Scout's Take: Pierce has all the tools a GM could want from a wing. Scores the ball well, plays above average defense, and has the upside to be one of the better SFs in the league. Teams do worry about his decision-making at times. Word is he is a bit of gambling addict, but we've seen a few guys around the league get through that.
