MOST VALUABLE PLAYER:
Weird year where I traded my best dudes several times. I guess Jimmy by the time my roster settled? Or Dejounte?

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
Kwame is still a dude on defense. On a per 36 basis, did 3.2 stocks and 13.1 rebounds with flat A defense presumably meaning he’s solid as a positional defender

MOST IMPROVED:
Draymond had a major improvement year, with improved rebounding and some stocks to go with decent offensive efficiency. Hoping he keeps ticking up this season and the long term flat deal looks increasingly valuable

SIXTH MAN:
Also probably Draymond - he was a great 3-5 sub for most of the season.

BIGGEST SURPRISE:
I really thought we’d be a lot better when Kyrie came back but we weren’t, which pushed me to move on from Kyrie etc. I love Dejounte though and think he could be a stud as he continues to progress.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT:
Same as the surprise above - Kyrie seemingly just didn’t make us better when he got back and I panicked thinking he might sit again if we headed towards missing the playoffs

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR:
I traded the back-to-back 2014-2015 MVP Kyrie for eventual 2016 MVP Jrue for Jimmy and a future stud PG in Dejounte. I also picked up Harrison Barnes, Jordan Clarkson, Tristan Thompson, and a couple of FRPs along the way. So ya I was involved in some big ones. I like where I landed though - reloaded with partially camped high upside prospects and a top tier 2-way wing in Jimmy that should all help me navigate the next few seasons while I still don’t have my picks

REGRETS:
None really. My trade moves were certainly not what people expected and surely some people like them and others don’t but I was ready to get off of Kyrie’s rollercoaster ride and just feel less pressure to constantly make moves to try to appease him.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Bradley Beal. Great true shooting. Traded pretty much everyone else away!

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Lucas Nogueira. Ended up averaging over 3 stocks.

MOST IMPROVED: Patty Mills. He did a surprisingly respectable job starting at PG after Arenas.

SIXTH MAN: Willie Green. Great shooter, hope he enjoys his retirement.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Marcus Thornton. Guy plays better than his attributes.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Sasha Pavlovic. Guy plays much worse than his attributes.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Getting my pick back. Pick = Spida.

REGRETS: Not getting Tatum!

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Ben Simmons ROY! at worst this guys fun.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: not trading Wright sooner.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: TP for livingston. one of those rare no FRP block busters that was win-win.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: D Rose. Dude was a bucket all year.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Not much defense was played but I guess Vooch with 2.4 stocks which is pretty average.

MOST IMPROVED: D Rose. Went from 26ppg to 35ppg. Stocks and turnovers got worse unfortunately but we won't talk about that.

SIXTH MAN: Eric Gordon. Best of the bad I guess.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: D Rose went crazy on offense. The turnovers kept him out of allstar and all league consideration. Wild that a 35 ppg player didn't make any all league teams or the allstar game.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: D Rose not getting the league award recognition. Not much else. Was expecting to be horrible.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: I liked grabbing Porter in the Boogie trade.

REGRETS: Not losing an additional game so I could've been in the Hornets slot which ended up shooting up to #2 pick in the lottery.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Joel Embiid. One of the best players in the league as a 22 year old on his rookie deal. Hoping he can continue to get better.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Myles Turner. In his second year, already had flat A Defense and an amazing STOCK:TO as a lockdown defender.

MOST IMPROVED: Rudy Gay. Going from good starter to top 5 SF earns him the nod here.

SIXTH MAN: Ryan Anderson. He was incredible as our supersub last season.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Embiid coming in as one of the league’s best players off the rip.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Oladipo regressing so hard from promising wing to our fifth best starter.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Either the Gay signing Bayless trade, Petro/Biyombo deal or the Anderson trade. All contributed to our huge jump in wins but probably the Gay signing.

REGRETS: None. This was a super fun season

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Damian Lillard - Dame taking the step to nearly being a 50/50/90 guy on that deal changes everything for us.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Bogut. Man is a BEAST.

MOST IMPROVED: Damian Lillard - huge step up to make it a true three-headed monster with him, Klay, and Wade.

SIXTH MAN: Devin Harris. Great player, there was definitely no 7th man (Tyson Chandler I guess).

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Lillard step forward. Harris was leading the league in steals and I had to relegate him to the bench. B=

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Cap tied. Was crazy busy last offseason/most of this offseason and just stayed hamstrung. Otherwise I'd say my sweet boy Tim Duncan retiring. RIP goat.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Dumping Harris this week ha. Otherwise the Chandler deal was nice business.

REGRETS: unable to move Harris earlier. Should've eaten my losses when I had interest earlier in the year. Harris and Dame backing up the 1-3 just wasn't feasible.
