This is a fun game, which teams out of the West would make the playoffs in the East, and which teams out of the East would make the playoffs in the West?
This assumes that
-one team is magically plopped into the shuffle - ei. Suns are dropped into the current East, and it would be the Suns and the remaining 15 East teams, with 8 spots up for grabs.
The answer might be every east team except the Cavs make the playoffs in the West, though I do expect regression to the mean for some road heavy teams like the SAC and HOU (though HOU is clamping folks)
No clue what the answer is on the other end. Happy to discuss
