I voted for Nolan. His trade for Black Griffin this off-season/season was exceptional, and the missing piece for the Rockets. Nolan also did not overpay for a premium prospect, supercamped him appropriately, and it paid dividends. Close 2nd was Kipke with his wheeling and dealing for Monta and bolstering the front court. I personally wouldn't have given up Cousins, but that's what separates me from a good GM. Close 3rd was Nick who geared down by trading Dirk and receiving premium prospects and continued winning in the process.

My vote goes to Nolan. Buh-lackay was a real risk in terms of the amount of RPs he is going to ultimately cost the Rockets to acquire/develop/retain, but there was a very clear Jamison-sized hole left in that franchise if you look over the past few seasons. I feel like they filled that void perfectly with another core piece in Blake. They’ve been our rivals all season long. Have to tip the cap

fuck it i'm changing my vote. nick you lost it by voting kipke! a vote to float your boat! kipke made a hell of a mid season move but his winning percentage is the same pre and post monta - albeit w more road games. i don’t get the kipke bid tbh and think people gotta stop voting for their friends. it’s like he’s winning two awards for last season. (i don’t want to hear it kipke im jameis fucking winston) to me it’s nick v nolan. Nick is a beast staying at 50+ wins after trading dirk and diop. nolan however made one single move and added 25 wins. NOLAN has the most positive change in title odds. the end.

I voted for Nolan. Rockets were starting to take steps back from their peak a couple years ago. He pulled the trigger on a significant trade for Blake and he fit beautifully in his inside oriented offense. Nick and Kipke are a close 2nd/3rd. Nick trading his best pieces at the perfect time to get value while they still had it. Kipke for adding Monta to an already dominate team, levering up at the right time!

I def shouldn’t win and my candidacy isn’t strong in my mind for this award. But Nolan didn’t “make a single move an add 25 wins”. Nolan was a 62-20, +11 team two years prior and a He still had his big three in their prime but just struck out in FA with twan.
Retooling around your still supreme big three that have continued to be in their prime through the whole time period is an odd slam dunk argument. He runs an inside offense which must have the right guys around it to be great. Nolan has done that nearly ever year and because he didn’t do it one year he gets gmoy?

People forget about Nolan's move to acquire my handsome prince David Lee for RP, who has been a key 3rd butt for him. Shoutout to Nolan! I'm keeping my vote the same though lol - nothing but love to the front runners
