i think it was a valid question, just doesn't actually work in FBB

if it did, I'd have probably allowed it (but would've made a post adding him to the FA pool), but I think discussing whether or not we want this in the offseason is good

FBB lacks "contract renegotiations" in general (though they're pretty rare in real life NBA as well)

Essentially cutting a player then retaining bird rights on them doesn't make sense to me

I feel like this was prior to day 1 though, because I tried doing it with AG and it didn't work/allow the bid
