Strengths: Explosive finisher at the rim. Good jump shot. Decent vision. Might get a steal. Very good quickness. Excellent athleticism.

Weaknesses: Range needs work. Handles are iffy. Defense is subpar. Not a good rebounder.

Scout's Take: LaVine is an outstanding athlete with a good base for scoring. His defense will effectively be a non-factor, so teams will be looking for him to become a #1 or #2 option kind of guy on offense. He could also be an outstanding sixth man.
