Strengths: Very large individual. Should take care of the ball pretty well. Solid defender in the paint with somewhere between decent and good shot-blocking. Pretty average rebounder. Decent strength.

Weaknesses: Offense is pretty non-existent. Very slow. Game overall is raw.

Scout's Take: Thabeet has pretty much coasted on his size for his entire basketball career. You can't teach height, but many wonder if you can teach anymore basketball to this young man. He has a good framework to be a good defending big man, but there are concerns if the rest of his game will develop enough to be a starter at the next level.
