James Harden
Strengths: Pure scorer. Finishes at the basket with either hand and has good range on his jumper. Good court-vision. Gambles for steals. Solid rebounder for his position/size. Good strength and quickness.
Weaknesses: Very unmotivated man defender. Will turn the ball over.
Scout's Take: Harden has the makings of a future scoring champ. He scores in bunches from anywhere on the court and also gets his teammates open looks. Scouts are worried he may not be able to handle playing the 1 full time due to his tendency cough up possessions, but he can more than make up for it on the offensive end and with some steals. Excellent upside.
