Strengths: Good quickness and athleticism. Takes care of the ball. Pesky defender in the post and perimeter. Excellent steals and very good shot-blocking. Good rebounder.

Weaknesses: Offense is probably unsalvageable. Needs to bulk up.

Scout's Take: Balkman is a unique utility player that teams will be able to use in a number of ways. Whether it be that 5th starter on a team with established offense, or a more in and out rotation guy that will do the dirty work. Scouts are high on his ability to contribute, but it'll be up to the GM to figure how best to utilize him.
