I read Matt's article and the comments, and I couldn't have been the only one to think...
... what if we included the old boards in the analysis??? and....
... would I still suck?

Pasting here the counts for both boards combined, then new boards, then old boards.

The #3-5 biggest traders on the new boards were not original SLN GMs, and their numbers were way smaller in the old boards. Making room for the Suns as the #3 GM.

Some other original GMs that have stepped up their trade rate - sonicks, matt, scoops, pankin represent a greater share of trades in the new boards compared to the old. The biggest drop off is from heimer who was 6% of the old trades and only 2% now. And his team now is better than ever!

On the flip side, Ralph, Jburns and I are still really lame at trading throughout the full league history. I am embarrassed. But can't argue with results

Tong has done more trades on the new boards than Ralph has done in all league history!

Speaking of Ralph, he did win some absolutely HUGE trades in the fall of 2022. Look at the first page of SLN completed trades. Ralph got 2 picks from Jayant for Rex Chapman.

Including the old boards, we get to much fewer team embargoes. Congrats to kipke, sonicks, merv, hoff and jesse for reaching completion. gold star to you fellas
