Dissent Mounting, Health Concerns Leave Future Unclear

"We face a troubling new threat that is not something I have ever had to plan for. A health crisis is sweeping the nation and here in the SLN we are feeling its effects as well. COVID-19 has affected many players around the league, and as much as I like to be ready for any potential issues, I must say I was not ready for this one. Who could have seen something like this coming? We don't live in the future. We can only operate on what we know now and take the best course of action available to us. I felt continuing the end of season push and the playoffs was the right move for our General Managers, players, and our fans.
It has come to my attention that many are upset by how I have handled this new pandemic and how it is affecting our sport. As many of you should know, safety and fairness are my highest priorities, and I would never compromise on those to ensure profits and satisfying investors, as others may be saying. There is no basis in that sort of rumor. Keeping SLN safe and successful go hand-in-hand. I could not do what I do without our General Managers, and they could not do what they do without our players. We must work together to find a solution to this very challenging crisis we find ourselves in.
Rest assured that I have concepts of a plan to get us through this. SLN will come out of this stronger than before. I have no doubts that the playoffs will wrap up and we'll be able to face this issue headfirst come offseason time. Thank you for your continued support.
