Once you've posted, DO NOT claim your RP in the RP thread - we will calculate at the end.

John Henson. The rebounds finally came! 13.3 Reb per 36 and 3.4 Blks per 36!

TEAM AWARDS
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: I guess Grayson Allen looking interesting. Maybe it's Killian Hayes in the NDL lol. Love Dame but the 4 TOPG just kills
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Bogut? Idk we gave up 124 a game lol
MOST IMPROVED: Grayson Allen! Good jump from NDL, needs to cut the TO down a tick
SIXTH MAN: Kevin Knox I guess. Who knows we suck
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Grayson Allen even though I thought he could be even better
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: James. Wiseman. My brotha come on. Also maybe Knox not shooting enough.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: The picks are nice but hard to look at it from a good lens.
REGRETS: Everything.

TEAM AWARDS
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Lavine - he turned into a god this year
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Justice Winslow. We traded the stockness monster for him, and though he’s a little less stocky, he was very good
MOST IMPROVED: Lavine somehow, went above the 30 PPG mark
SIXTH MAN: Jimmy butler, see ya pal
BIGGEST SURPRISE: having a +5 differential and missing the playoffs
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: missing the playoffs
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: I like Winslow
REGRETS: too many so none, no regrets, we just keep humming along

TEAM AWARDS
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Jim Bob Harden. MVP of the league, MVP of the team, MVP of our hearts
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Kevon Looney. Can't ask for much more than 4:1 stock to TO
MOST IMPROVED: Harden, which is wild at age 31. Posted career highs in points, FG%, 3PT%, FT%, rebounds, literally all the good stuff.
SIXTH MAN: Gortitties. Still doin it at a million years old. better than 3:1 stock to TO and amazing rebounding rate. Has not gotten nearly enough recognition for being one of the greatest butts of his generation.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Harden's MVP? Definitely didn't see that coming at his age
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Whiteside getting injured for the entire season early on and forcing me to trade his beefy ass.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: I'll go with MKG because his statlines are consistently bananas. Very sad to move off of Hassan but he's as good a consolation prize as you could ask for
REGRETS: Not making more trades earlier once Whiteside got hurt! Definitely cost us a few wins that could have granted us home court in the post season

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Aaron Gordon, he's a Top 20 player (who mystifyingly was not valued like one on the open market!)
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Aaron Gordon, he became one of the league leaders in blocks with a huge jump in that department. Not enough people noticed, sadly!
MOST IMPROVED: I was going to write Aaron Gordon but I'll go with Michael Porter Jr., who's also not on my team anymore but had a great season after his supercamp and is going to have a terrific career
SIXTH MAN: Can hardly remember who was on the roster before I tore it down but I think this was Denzel Valentine — he was a nice MLE snag and super productive outside of his turnovers. Gone too soon but will have a solid career too.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: The lack of interest in Aaron Gordon
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: The lack of interest in Aaron Gordon!
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: I made about 50 trades this season and I don't know how to appropriate any of them but am overall pretty happy with our current direction and rebuild — we have 15 firsts and 15 seconds in the next six drafts and the entire team is basically prospects. Trying to do this in a more patient fashion than my past tanks and hope for better luck.
REGRETS: None really, I think my team had hit the end of its life cycle and I've enjoyed making tons of trades over the last few weeks, which I will continue to do

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER:
Some tossup between Sabonis, Fox, Marvin, and Drummond, all had great years!
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
Drummond. Pacers legend!
MOST IMPROVED:
DeAaron Fox, steals went up and turnovers went down
SIXTH MAN:
Sabonis, the 6moty
BIGGEST SURPRISE:
Miles Bridges not taking the step forward that we needed
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT:
See above re Miles Bridges. Ultimately he may end up being just a guy
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR:
Marvin and Al for Deron. Sucks Al retired but still happy to have him for a season
REGRETS:
None!

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: John Collins
Whole team sucked complete ass last season as by design but was excited to see what I had in a few prospects. Bridges will be a nice piece but was ultimately really happy with what I got out of Collins after he came over in the Rudy Gay trade. His per 36 numbers hit 19 and 13 and feel like if he can continue to improve efficiency he could be a really nice piece. Im hoping his new contract looks like a nice bargain in a couple seasons.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: IDK Mitchell Robinson?
We didnt play a lick of d last season
MOST IMPROVED: Mikal Bridges
Didnt do a thing in Seattle but thrived in the SG spot next to Jimmy Butler. His numbers dipped when he bumped up to SF but hoping thats a development thing. I was really pleased with his first half.
SIXTH MAN: Darius Garland by default
BIGGEST SURPRISE: How good John Collins was at the 3
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: The death of Kevin Love and how shitty the trade market is
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: John Collins or Mikal Bridges
REGRETS: Trading Jaylen Brown and Tyus Jones, I just didnt need to do it but the value was there, maybe ill be happy again in a few seasons. Im at least excited to do somehting I havent in years, draft.

TEAM AWARDS
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Markelle Fultz. Turned into a certified balla this year. All league honors baby! Might be the first homegrown clipper to do that which is a little dark but we'll take it. Only got there because Kyrie was fucking around all season but fuck your asterisks. 30.7 ppg, 6.4 boards, 9.3 assists, net positive stock to TO on 48%.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Defense? We aint doin all that. Fultz I guess had the most stocks here so we'll go with that.
MOST IMPROVED: Sexton. I don't know his NDL stats but I don't think he was all league. Came out in his debut big leagues season averaging 23 ppg on 47%. Glad that the supercamp appears to have been productive.
SIXTH MAN: Tobias. Certainly a bad contract but a solid 11 ppg on 45%. If we're being honest he kinda sucks but he's what I got.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: I didn't see Markelle getting this good on his rookie contract. Let's keep that shoulder healthy and get even better this season.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Striking out pretty hard in FA. I was imagining a squad with Markelle on a friendly contract, sexton, d will, rudy gay, jordan bell. Maybe a lil Klay Thompson action? Maybe could've squeaked into the playoffs if FA went better. Not having my 2023 pick puts me in a weird situation and I'm trying to figure out what to do here.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Tying up a solid back up 4/5 for the long term in Zach Collins on a nice deal. Damn it's gotta be scary times if that's what I'm pumped about.
REGRETS: nothing

TEAM AWARDS
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Derrick Rose
Not Luka just yet! DRose put together the best season of his career at age 32, giving me hope that he can keep it together for another season or two. I may as well put "man seeking SLN guard who shoots >50%" on my Hinge profile
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Larry Sanders
He continues to be a top 5 contract value guy in the league. Never leave me Larry!
MOST IMPROVED: Luka Doncic
After a huge camp, he turned in an awesome season, scoring 30 efficient points per game while pulling down 8 boards. Here's to another solid TC for the Grandmaster
SIXTH MAN: Jeremy Lamb
Klay wasn't quite cutting it, but we went on a little run when we put the Lamborghini in at supersub. He's paid handsomely for his work, but I think he's one of the best backup wings in the league.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: How good DRose is
It's been a while since it has been fun to open up Bulls box scores, but DRose brought that back. There's something special about your best player also being someone you rooted for IRL - it's amazing to have Derrick Rose in my life again, even as a fake sim league player.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Not winning or being good?
I'm sick of being in this rut of the 7-8 seed and +2-3 point differential - I keep making moves that I think will get me over the top into true title contention and keep ending up in the same spot. Maybe the East is just too good, maybe I'm just washed, tune in to find out this season!
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Lambo
Lambo by default - happy to get him for free. Also excited about the moves I've made this offseason.
REGRETS: A lot in my personal life but nothing in SLN
