The top of the draft scared me a bit. I think Amen Thompson has a really good shot to be the best guy in this class, and I’d have maybe taken him 1. Tari Eason is about to steal everything, if his rebounding comes along, he’s gonna be a monster. Champagnie was a guy I liked later in the draft.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Well we did some stuff. Kawhi for Chriss, Eason, Terence Davis, and 8 FRP helped us reset and restock the cupboard. Felt better to build around a mid 20s core and get off a huge contract. I think we’ll be competitive. Tbd on how good

3. Thoughts on TC?
Praying for a good TC for Tari. Would be fun to see a pop from AG or Booker

Atlantic: Magic, odds say we have to stop losing by 1 game eventually
Central: Hawks, 72-10
Midwest: Nuggets, he ain’t done
Pacific: Suns

I think the Nuggets will have the most immediate success. They’ve gotten proven guys and Kipke is a good GM who will build around the margins

Can’t think of the best right now, but a recent one. Tyler would’ve traded Rui to the Raptors for AG but apparently only makes trade offers in the US

Hawks would not be the favorites in this Sim League Vegas. I’d bet they’re like +400 odds and I wouldn’t bet, too random

I loved my draft. Getting lucky with #1 and picking Chet! He seems like a perfect SLN player in the modern league - great scorer, stocks, average rebounding. Then I snagged Sochan with 14 to send to NDL (can’t believe he dropped). A lot of hype surrounding Amen!

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Let me tell you, I did not expect this offseason. I thought I would be in for another ranking season. Grabbed the #1 pick, acquired Spida, Ayton, LaMelo without giving up any of my main core players (Bane, Mobley, Chet). I want to see how my season is going before making some more trades but would be looking to upgrade at SF and have a lot of expiring money.

3. Thoughts on TC?
Need a big TC from LaMelo!! In BBB we trust! Would also lowkey want to see some ROI on JJJ.

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Celtics - kept the core
Central: Hornets - this is the season they overtake the Hawks
Midwest: Mavs - all depending on LaMelo!
Pacific: Clippers? - if Kyrie behaves watch out!

The Nuggets seems like they will have the most immediate success buying win now players.

I think Hawks probably have 3rd or 4th best odds this season.

Loved the top 3. There hasn't been enough Jalen Williams talk and he profiles perfectly for a two way FBB SG

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Very fired up about the offseason. Haven't been able to post yet but agreed to a blockbuster that should meaningfully extend our title window and give us a lot of flexibility moving forward.

Goal for this season is to win the title.

3. Thoughts on TC?
Would be cool for Turner to get to either A Outside or B- Rebounding, Okogie to get to A- Outside, and Jones to get to A+ Outside. Seems like they're all on the border of those ratings anyways but would love to see it happen

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Knicks. We've won the Atlantic for 5 of the last 6 years (damn Celts got us by one game in 2019) and our core is still getting better
Central: Hawks. Tough to see them taking a 15+ win step back this year
Midwest: Nuggets. Them boys comin
Pacific: Suns. This team is cool

Nuggets. That team should be a lot of fun this season with all their new guys (who seem to mesh together well)

Potentially Wemby deciding to not stay in the draft this season. Definitely changes the landscape of the league for years to come if he joins this Mavs franchise

+300. I'd bet them. KD is the greatest player in league history and he's got an ideal squad around him.

Loved this draft. Thought it was really deep and became really good at the top after the twins entered — and I had a lot of picks so was very invested. Think Chet will be a stud. Was incredibly thrilled to get Amen as the owner of his super scout info, I haven't had that many chances to draft that high and feel fortunate. Also really wanted Dyson Daniels and was glad to get him. Think Walker Kessler was the best of the centers, Tari Eason is gonna be a defensive wrecker, Ivey going to the NDL was a massive coup for the Spurs, and also really liked Keon Ellis and Christian Braun as role players. I bet a handful of guys drafted 20 and on will pop and be real SLN guys.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?

This was a really important off-season since we had so much cap space and there were so many good free agents. Felt like we really took advantage of that and could maximize my amnesty clause to spin it into value. Very excited about the young core but it's going to take a lot of time and TC luck for this to work itself out. Assuming Wemby is in this year's draft, the goal is to be in the mix for a top pick again while also getting a good feel for how the young guys fit together.

3. Thoughts on TC?

Massively important TC! Need all my young guys to work very hard to maximize their talent. Scottie and Amen are going to get supercamps and I pray that they cash in their potential. I'm nervous tbh lol.

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Magic, I think Merv got a sick haul for Kawhi and will be able to upgrade as much as needed
Central: Hawks, don't be the guy who fades the Hawks
Midwest: Nuggets, sources are saying they're gonna be loaded
Pacific: Suns, but losing Bonga hurts and I think the Clippers will be nasty

I'd guess Denver has the biggest win delta from last year to this year. Nobody in the East actually flipped the switch, so it'll be a bloodbath again.

6. Outside of the Lebron pick that was traded and then jumped, what's your favorite "sliding doors" moment or Butterfly Effect in the league's history?

What if my Alonzo Mourning trade didn't get vetoed, which hurt my title chances in that era and made me into a villain like I was the only person who had ever made a seemingly favorable trade with his tree (hmmmmm). And while the veto did help the Nets get more value...also ended up fucking the old Warriors GM Grant, who got coerced into overpaying for Zo as a result when his roster was clearly not ready, and set the Warriors back for a half-decade by the time Clint took over!

7. What do you think the Vegas odds are for a Hawks threepeat? Would you bet em?

This is a great question. I'd go like +300 as the early favorites. I'd throw 10 bucks on it, why not.

I thought the Thompson twins were very fun and exciting to see how they are utilized. I think Paolo will turn into a melo lite. Chet seems super fun. I think Dyson Daniels has potential to be very interesting. Hope Ousmen Dieng pops in the NDL for Steven

Not pumped about losing DLo but we have some tricks up our sleeve. Hoping to stay in prime playoff position and improve, will need some TC luck

3. Thoughts on TC?
Need Deni to pop. Also, if Lavines +20 pot gets him back to A- A+ I’d be really happy

Atlantic: Knicks - Myles turner world we are living in
Central: hawks unless they make a wild trade
Midwest: jazz - unless marvin dies in TC
Pacific: Clips - fun to see what Bobby is doing

Clippers - Kyrie x Fultz is going to be insane. Liked his move with the kings to get some good role players and a third scorer in boban

Really didnt pay attention this year like i usually do but ill give this a go anyways.
Sleepers: Mathurin, Ellis, Pippen Jr, Watson, Champagnie, Cockburn, Hardy
Busts: N/A…im bound to make a bust article like Nolans here soon.
My Draft: my frp was used on the greatest center in SLN aka Zubac. Roddy takes me as a fun build just because. I liked Wesley a lot coming into this draft IRL and i hope i can make him a lil better than the mid lord.
Other Drafts: I really liked how Scoops maneuvered after getting boned. Nick gave him a godfather package to move out from 5. Then with the 20th pick ended up with a great player in Braun who coincidentally was drafted so that Scoops could hang out with Brauns mother more(if you dont know look her up.) Scoops had the nuggets IRL draft lolol.
Idk everyones draft looks really good.


2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Well outside of someone coming for my credentials and having to throw away a player ive poured everything into, prettay prettay good. Im sick of this half-assed shit from my squad. The Warriors are nasty and need to finally show it. Outside of that just positive vibes from everyone and growth and we should be good.

3. Thoughts on TC?
I think Tatum could have a massive jump. Hope that Dipo and Holiday hold the line. Bamba and Precious need to step it up this TC, but overall i love those two so far. Zubac gonna keep evolving and so will Black. Im hyped for this athletic camp for Donte.

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Knicks…Embiid block kicks his ass into gear.
Central: Hawks…Slim Reaper.
Midwest: Grizzlies. Its theirs or Utahs division. I think the Nuggets are much improved though, same with the Mavs.
Pacific: Suns until further notice. But this is my year. Go Warriors

Fultz/Kyrie/Boban is a devastating balanced trio but i wonder about depth in year 1 of this. Nuggets snagging Rubio and Leonard to round this team out is great. Rubio is one of the least talked about premier PGs in the league. Kawhi fits this team like a klaw. I hate that all these players are in the west but its gonna make for a fun season.

Think Keon Ellis is going to be good. Was torn between Minott and Peyton Watson at 24, hope they're both good! If Chet's rebounding gets there he's going to be awesome. Think Paolo is going to be an awesome 2-5 sub.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Happy we got a decent prospect in the draft but didn't make many other moves. Counting on internal development. Want to hit 50-55 wins, think it's doable given Oden/Gay are guaranteed to hold the line and my young guys still have some room to improve.

Pacific: Suns shine bright like a diamond. pairing up a great front court with defensive backcourt poses a problem for the west. but watch out for kyrie and fultz !!

i was high off my rocket, out to lunch baked and made the worst offer in history to jayant. wake up to him saying “yeah that’s fair i accept” and it being a real source of pain for the following 6 months - just for him to quit the league.

Pats future is bright. Really like the coaching staff they are bringing in - they’ll make some men out of these boys. Really want Carter if he’s at 4 but the Pats really need an offensive tackle and am not opposed to a small move back to 7 or 8 if there’s good value coming back in the trade.

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.

Thought it was an interesting draft. Bummed to have slipped once again but feel ok about the picks I was able to make. Think it was a tricky pick for the top spot, not sure if I would've gone with Paolo or Chet. Think Amen should be very good. Ivey at 13 I thought was great value and he should be very fun in the NDL.

2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?

Feeling pretty good so far! Woke up in the middle of the night after FA Day 1 and was shocked to see I landed Kyrie. Not gonna lie, signing him definitely has me a bit scared for Fultz's contract expiring. Feel for GX a bit. Surely he will take Fultz from me when that time comes.

Already a bit stressed about his stip but it's not the worst problem to have. The direction of my team seemingly has changed dramatically and I should be able to get into the playoffs and be a scary team to play for the first time in forever without having to give up too much draft capital. I'm sort of looking at this as a small window with Boban in the tail end of his career and Markelle only being on the books for two more seasons.

3. Thoughts on TC?

Looking for Okongwu to jump a little bit as he's the weakest of my starting 5 right now. I think he may be too young to be a starter on a serious team but I'd love to see him go +1/2. Sexton is showing D pot at 24 years old so we'll see what happens there. Hopefully Boban stays where he's at. Can Mama go crazy again up in Ontario?

4. Who wins each division and why?

Atlantic: Knicks. Young core that has done it before and should get even better in TC.
Central: Hawks. Probably don't need to elaborate
Midwest: Nuggets. Great squad already, Kipke seems keen to get after this season and think he's got more moves to make if he wants to.
Pacific: Suns. Deadly front court and I think Lonzo should fit in nicely. I'd pick the Clippers but as it stands now, I'm not sure I have enough defense to stop these guys and the Wall/Lonzo combo might be able to slow down Kyrie and Markelle enough.

I'm a Kings fan now. Pumped to see the legendary duo of Lavine and Demar reunite.

My wifi connection where my Xbox is has been fucked so I've been crushing single player modes the last few weeks. Ripped through Skate 1 and now am working through GTA V now for the first time. I've been watching Traitors which I'm absolutely loving. Watching season 2 as season 3 episodes come out. As a Survivor fan and someone who reluctantly (not that reluctantly) watches various iterations of Real Housewives in the background with my wife while watching NBA, I'm really liking it.
