The "Hanessian" Rule?

Tanking
1. No Inside Offense.
2. Nav Rule (You must sign appropriate players to fill positions on your DC)
3. Start your best players and maintain reasonable option choices. There is room for experimentation at my discretion. No experimentation after the trade deadline.
4. You may tank "penalty" free for 3 seasons. On your 4th season in the lottery (with a losing record), your pick will be dropped 7 spots. On each subsequent season, your pick will be dropped to #14. Any attempt to circumvent this penalty via trade or other means will be met with scrutiny and additional penalties.
5. Repeat roster or DC violations of the aforementioned rules will result in a -1 season to your penalty clock.
6. I reserve the right to examine things on a case-by-case basis, such as a team not owning their 1sts for a bulk of their "tanking" years, but as mentioned above any attempt to circumvent the penalty through creative means will not be allowed.

Rule goes into effect 2025-2026 season (next season).

Idk #4 is brutal… I’ve had a losing record for like a decade but have only tried to tank for like 2 of those seasons…

does this mean if you have a losing record and get the 11th pick in the 4th season it drops to 18? or does it just drop out of the lotto to 14?

I like # 6 because I certainly didnt plan to be under .500 when I didnt have my picks, just the unluck of the Irish
