GMs have until Thu, May 1 to vote. If you like, you may refer to the results of the league-wide survey that someone put out on GMOTY criteria.

-Anyone who votes gets 100 RPs.
-GMs get an additional 200 RPs for posting in this thread and advocating on behalf of a GM. Do not advocate on behalf of yourself!
-Do not vote for yourself.

Things to Consider:

-GM proactivity and creativity
-Success in drafting, trades, FA signings, general team building
-Production in the form of wins, losses and team stats
-Delta in team performance from year to year (or in this case, from draft to end of regular season).

Winner Gets:

-1,000 RPs
-Ability to add or subtract a year to any player's contract on your team. Must be done within one season.

Tiebreaker:

-If any two GMs are tied in 1st place in voting, we will do a ranked-choice procedure for them + anyone within 2 votes of the leader to determine the winner.

Must apply removal year (if only year) prior to Day 1 of FA. If you do it during FA, it will remove "Last Team" and bird rights and FBB will not let Ashes change that.

Voted for Merv - the Magic were arguably the best team rail to rail, set up well by moves he made in the off-season to then push in further in-season — turning AG into Rui both improved the team and elongated his window to compete, and then he positioned himself to grab the GOAT KD and upgrade going into the playoffs. I think this version of Orlando is relatively sustainable as a contender (KD's age aside, Scoot coming up next year) and really well-rounded and deep, they arrived ahead of schedule, awesome season.

Runner up is Ashes for winning the central with a four-player team

I vote Merv. the BI trade from last year, plus KD trade this year, plus other moves rounding out the roster (CoJo for cheap, Dwight Powell reunion) - very good team, good job merv. Jesse deserves a lot of love too because idk how his band of misfit weirdos got to 60 wins
FOR THE LAND - believe!

Merv for mervious reasons. Nothing but Magic. great campaign and after strategically taking a step back, the magic took not 2 but 3 steps forward. KD was a nice move but was a solidifier and not the move that made them great. big moves: getting Rui end of last year (and great coaching to deploy him as a super-sub) Trez was a massive move for a good price to boost his chances this season. magic man surely demerves this award.

Jesse had another powerful season and easily could’ve written this blurb for Pinkman.

Hoff deserves a ton of credit turning what was an unlucky offseason into a very successful regular season.

I’m gonna roll with Jesse. Mainly because he gave MervMedia an exclusive behind the scenes access for a draft night blockbuster. Time will tell who won that one.

I had the Kings pegged as one of my sleepers coming into the year and he made a fun move for Domas. I don’t have a big overarching thing on his team building long term because Jesse doesn’t team build. Dude just trades.
