Strengths: Very good, crafty finisher in the paint. Solid jump shot. Might get a steal and a block a game. Above-average post defender. Pretty good rebounder. Good strength.
Weaknesses: Might take more 3s than you'd like. Handles need work.
Scout's Take: Derik Queen has a very solid offensive game and provides a good body on the glass. He might get close to reasonable stocks, but he isn't a super effective defender by any means; however, teams are confident he can provide enough to make him a quality starter in the league.
