Well, folks, it's a momentous occasion here in Nirvana, as we gather to discuss the shocking rejection of Sam Cassell's admission into the SLN Hall of Fame. Sam, you were a true "run of the mill" star point guard, and by that, we mean you were about as remarkable as a plain bagel at a donut shop. I mean, two-time All-Star? That's like being the employee of the month at the DMV. And let's not forget your efficiency. You were so turnover inefficient that even a toddler playing with a Rubik's Cube had better decision-making skills. As for your shooting, well, let's just say you had more bricks in your career than a construction site. But hey, at least you consistently got buckets, even if it was in making fans scratch their heads wondering how you ended up in the All-Star game. Sorry, Sam, but the Hall of Fame is for legends, not legends in their own minds! He received one vote, and has no rings to justify him staying int he conversation. Just two all star appearances and a modest 30 points on the Historian scale. Soft as a guard in my book.
