Strengths: Great stretch big man with very good court vision. Good handles. Very good jump shot and range. Good post defense. Slightly above average rebounder. Good strength and quickness.
Weaknesses: Not a stocks guy.
Scout's Take: Patterson is a good stretch big that hits shots and creates for his teammates. He has shown a good ability to guard opposing bigs, but might lack the lateral quickness to stay in front of wings. Scouts feel he currently projects to be a good sixth man or 4th/5th starter type.
