THE RIGHT STUFF FROM THE BIG BUTTS - 2011-12
Reminder from the last time we did this: I feel like this stat has been less relevant than it was in other leagues - like SLOR - because Ashes has created such a great landscape of bigs that we don't have the homogenized Def/Reb group on every team. SO: without having access to true turnover rates, I tried to create a usage-weighted turnover stat instead of the turnover component of this rating being purely about raw turnovers. This is still going to be more or less a guess, but it shouldn't penalize players who have the ball more (see: Eddie Griffin, T-Mac) and thus turn the ball over, as much as the old version of the stat.
