Dear fellow league members, it is our (Nick and Me) greatest honor to welcome everyone's favorite Canadian basketball player ever (sorry Dillon Brooks), Steve Nash to the leagues highest honors, the illustrious Hall of Fame. In a league where Point Guards reign supreme, Stephen "Dimes and Rhymes" Nash was a tour de force and one of the best to ever do it. He had the third-highest HOF criteria score in league history. In real life, we wondered, what if he were allowed to shoot a shit ton of threes back in the day. Well we sure found out.

A true OG, he was the 11th pick in the creation draft, and might've been the biggest steal in said draft. He was an all-star participant in his first year as a rookie, and won his first MVP award in 1998 as a sophomore with the Utah Yazz, a very fitting team as he created music all over the court with his court vision and 3 point wizardry. He led the Jazz to not one but two titles as the GUY , and was constantly in the runnings for more All NBA nods (5). He was eventually traded to the Hornets where him and Yao won Charlotte's first title ever, where Nash was again the Playoff MVP for the second time in his career. Post hornets run, he bounced around to a few teams (sixers, magic, bucks, warriors), but he will be getting that Jazz jersey retired

A man known for his offense, almost averaged a double double for his career, at 20.3 PPG and 9.6 APG. Almost more impressive was his officiency, averaging 47.3% from the field, 42.3% from 3, and 89% from the line. He wasn't a shy defender either, averaging 1.6 steals per game, with season highs above 2.0. His top statistical season was in 2001 where he averaged 25 PPG, 10.4 APG, 50.3% from the field91.1% from the field, and an absolutely absurd 47.5% from the field. He never had more than 3 TOs per game as a high volume #1 option.

Stevie - you were a pillar in the SLN for all of the stud young guards to follow. shoot them threes, dont turn the ball over, get some steals, and lead your team to the promised land. Congratulations on a wonderful career, hope your future coaching career can have the same success. You fucking Stud!
