Sim League Nirvana

Hey everyone, this past season seemed really rough

Is it just business? Or is there something you'd like to see changed?

-Pretty soon the NDL is getting a big overhaul/will have a lot more interactivity.
-Do RP rewards need looking at?
-Complaints on the league?
-Offseason woes?
-Rule changes?

What can I do to help people stay engaged? Or is this just a slow period for everyone? I just want to make sure we are all still enjoying things.

Is there anyway to creates an “Announcements” Tab in the top section that pulls in the most recent stuff from
Articles tab and podcast tabs from the last season, links the the past two sims, SLN history pods, pick em posts for that season, etc? Some grand tab that feeds my monkey brain in the most effecient, serotonin inducing manner?

I think you’d be disgusted with how I surf this site and if there was some like … straight to the main vein button I could press so I could see all the shit that’s poppin, that would be great

Off-season woes are tough. Maybe RP or trade frenzy’s if it’s not gonna be a quick one. Felt like two offseasons ago was ninja quick then it quadrupled due to uprisings off the grid

I’m doing NDL tonight so there should be zero offseason delay assuming draft and FA go smoothly

maybe my favorite part of this league is the content creation. unfortunately there was a dried up well of content this season. i did not do my part. personally think more incentive to compose something would go a long way… a 2x multiplier for the next 2 seasons would spurn some serious churn!

I’ve personally been busier, so it’s been harder to coordinate time to podcast. I’ve been trying to chip in articles when I can as usual. I know a lot of people I’ve talked to feel like they wish they had more incentive to create content (it’s my main source of RP because I don’t have a job, so I try to do it anyway) or alternative streams to generating RP. I can’t really speak to the motivation factor cause I’m always doing it lol.

I also think people are very conservative for the most part managing their teams so it’s just led to less activity. One byproduct of the general RP drought is also that people don’t feel like they can camp prospects (or don’t have the actual funds to do so) which is then devaluing draft picks a bit. So I also wonder if there’s an element of market forces slowing down the activity/liquidity. Plus a lot of us are tanking, so it kinda is what it is. (Wonder if there is a way to make competing/tanking a little bit less of a zero sum thing?)

Just a few thoughts, would be curious whatever everyone has to say, and to hear from people who aren’t as active on the boards (how do we get those people more involved?)
