lots of good candidates including GX for keeping things not just afloat but thriving with Kyrie down, Tonger rebuilding a powerhouse and crushing the playoffs, Heimer with the big lebron play, Joe for retooling, Nav for the big Tyus pull, but my vote goes to Jesse. It's just astounding that he can continue to wheel around his roster every single freaking year and end up as a top seed and threat in the west.
FOR THE LAND - believe!

voted GX, kept his team afloat with a string of really creative and good value deals that went deep across the league. think this season might have ended differently for him if hayward didn't get injured as well

Voted Jesse. In a season where I have no clue, gotta go with the guy whose team looks different every single season, and it looks like this is one of those seasons where he decided to flip the switch going into the playoffs and create an elite contender

I picked GX. Was very impressed that he was able to lead his team to the top of the west with his centerpiece on an extended walkabout for almost the entire season. After a shaky first couple sims, he sought out good, cheap trades without giving up too much in terms of draft capital/rp and picked up very useful role players that elevated PG and Hayward.

Voted for GX - thought that winning the west without Kyrie for most of the season and making successful marginal moves without leveraging himself further was a huge accomplishment. A lot of people made excellent trades who are strong candidates as mentioned above, but thought what he accomplished was unique and impressive

Lol i should never be on this thing

I had a few GMs in mind this year. Jesse, Ralph, Pankin, and Merv. Ill start by saying I am just unaware of your GM greatness this year Tongorilla; and for that i am sorry. Regardless, i got my list and ill vote.

Ralph went SLN on the beat and paid for it. Oh shit thats why Tonger is in first right now, Al Jeff/MW trade hmm. Yeah Ralph still did the damn thing after going through that debacle. No easy task to replace that production and still make it out of the MidWest even in an extremely down year in the West.

Pankin was finally given an offszn to restock after Harden left town bc the strip clubs were reportedly not to his liking. Surprised Boston strippers w/ needle bruises tickled his fancy but i digress. Took a shot on Galloway to fix his needs and did some other things to get back in the playoffs. Team still needs tweaks but Kat and Giannis are too good to not be in the playoffs so gjob.

Merv did the fucking thing. Yall want big trades? Hit up Orlando. That AG trade was a massive deal and already adds to a stacked team that should be competitive and in the top four in the east for at least the next couple seasons which is no fucking joke bc of that trade.

*puff piece for GX. I think walking away as Bubble Champs 2020 made Kyrie taking a walkabout easier to swallow for Georgie but he still walked away a top three seed without doing anything too drastic. That PG resigning and snagging the best always available PG in Bayless were great moves. Clearly PG and Hayward are top tier stars even without the best player in the league.

Alas though my vote this year goes to Jesse(WHICH I WILL NOT CHANGE). Does Jesse ever view his team and say “eh ill just pack it in?” Nope. Even after trading for his only love in Boban, the team wasnt moving correctly. Even losing to a Golden State squad he routinely beats after the all star break. But what does Jesse do? He trades Winslow for Nerlens to shore up the frontcourt and snags CoJo(the biggest player story of the szn) on a cheap trade. Dude did the extra work this season to be a top four seed.
