MOST VALUABLE PLAYER:
Jennings - BJ was on fire this season until he got injured. I still think we may have hit our 36 win target if he hasdnt gone down for like half the season
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
We weren’t exactly a good defensive team but Valenciunas did 2.2 stocks per game and rebounded the ball well
MOST IMPROVED:
Haliburton - he got up to just shy of 21ppg on 47%/39%/93% splits with turnovers down to 1.8 and steals up to 2.6. Hoping for another big jump this year
SIXTH MAN:
Cade - awesome season from the rookie, largely coming off the bench in the backup 1-3 role
BIGGEST SURPRISE:
None really - I think the season turned out largely as expected, being a very mid to below-mid team as a result of a lack of a real frontcourt. Had Jennings not gotten injured, we probably would have won a few more games but it is what it is
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT:
Not having our pick and Matt having it jump to 3
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR:
I didn’t make major moves. I hoped that Bynum would have helped more but he was pretty atrocious
REGRETS:
Probably could have done more to trade for a real big but the East is so tough right now so it was hard to justify spending my limited assets in hopes of trying to maybe compete for the last playoff spot too soon

TEAM AWARDS
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Crazy but I will go Rui over Joker. Joker is more efficicient on the offensive end but Riu does the same volume on 1 less turnover while having B+ defense and A- rebounding.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Bonga, RIP. 4 stocks per game at the point guard position and second team all defense. Hope you enjoy winning zero games in Miami, buddy
MOST IMPROVED: RUI!!! maybe the most improved in league history??? In his 3 TCs he went +4, +4 and then +5 after a super camp. Dude only knows how to improve, a real lunch pale guy
SIXTH MAN: Blake Griffin! Old leaper still got it! Offensively efficient stock to TO positive and A- rebounding Underrated player that we will miss!
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Thad Young being an amazing starting shooting guard. In inside offense, you just really want the guys to get stocks and not kill you offensively. Thaddeus shot 49% from the floor on 15 points per 36 doing 2:1 stock to TO at the wing. He is so good and always resigns for peanuts. Love Thad!
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Running into the Monstars in the finals
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Didn't trade much last season so I will say Greg Monroe on the MLE + extension
REGRETS: YOLO

TEAM AWARDS
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Luka Doncic
30 - 8 - 10 for Luka and he got his TOs under 3 for the first time in his career. He'll be getting a defense camp this TC as well.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
Might be Larry Sanders? He's consistently one of the lordiest stock:TO guys in the league, and he's a humble gentleman to boot
MOST IMPROVED: Bruno?
Idk, we were pretty depth-deficient this year, and Luka didn't really take a big step forward (at least cosmetically or numbers-wise). But this award is Jalen Williams' to win for the foreseeable future
SIXTH MAN: Jeremy Lamb
He's being played like the best 6th man in the league, and he's kinda playing like it too - 19 points per 36 on almost 50% shooting and he has almost 2:1 stock to TO. The upgrade from Klay to Lamb was a big reason for our jump in wins last season.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Derrick Rose murdering the league at 33
He is aging like the finest of wines, much unlike his IRL self - only fitting that he's only played for Bulls fan GMs in his SLN career. If I have anything to do with it, he'll retire a Bull.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Losing to the Celtics in the first round
Pretty fluky game 1 where Luka played 12 minutes to lose home court after we went 3-1 against them in the regular season. Probably only have one more real shot with Derrick Rose before he retires / declines, so hopefully we can make a real run this year!
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Otto Porter
Otto definitely lifted us a bit compared to what Brooks was giving us on a nightly basis. Nerlens was great for us too, but I think Otto was the bigger marginal gain.
REGRETS: Nada

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: I guess Dame. 50/90/50 is still unreal. Shame the handles just never got there.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Well we gave up the most points in the league so I think the answer is no one.
MOST IMPROVED: I suppose it’s Sengun but he improved from the draft lol. Killian Hayes looks legit in the NDL.
SIXTH MAN: It would’ve been Grayson Allen if he’d waited in FA. Edmond Sumner was kind of interesting. Again this team was cheeks so hard to hit anything on the head as a “celebration”
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Sengun looks legit even without any camps. Hyped for his future.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Started out pretty hype about Rokas. Did not finish as excited. Also Wiseman not taking any steps is scary.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Trading the 5th pick for a boatload (now Ausar will crush it for Nick). Re-set the RP too in order to super camp Sengun
REGRETS: Idk… Unfortunately Dame/Klay clearly didn’t work and pivoted into what was hopefully a quicker rebuild than it’s been. Shitty lotto luck then we pivot into this flatter lotto this year and still get fucked. Just a lot of bad luck but hopefully far more clarity and purpose moving forward now.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: The zingus. does a bit of everything.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: zingus stepped up to 2.4 blocks and 11.5 boards a game.
MOST IMPROVED: ingram. never understood the ingram hate from 2 seasons ago. think he was called the "worst contract in the league" as a 23 year old SF. he now fucks
SIXTH MAN: hield is automatic
BIGGEST SURPRISE: we had so many more wins than our point differential
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: losing game 7 to jesse. also why was capela so much worse this year
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: oubre and nurkic and 2 picks for cojo, hield, allen.

TEAM AWARDS
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Shabazz Muhammad. That traitor led our team in scoring and was flexible enough to play SG, SF, or 1-3 backup.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Anthony Davis. Monster defender, top 10 in blocks, very good steals. All around beast defensive center.
MOST IMPROVED: Ant. He looked much better after an underwhelming rookie year. Volume isn't totally there yet but his efficiency and defense is coming along nicely.
SIXTH MAN: Jordan Hamilton. That sleeze bag was a great rebounder at the wing and could score very efficiently. Sad he left for an MLE after day 1 when he would have been paid very handsomely.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Sneaking the 7th seed from the Pacers. They were a clear top contender preseason but couldn't get the team to align.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Naz Reid's TOs ballooning. Made him hard to start.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Justice Winslow. Finally got a legit starting SF. Glad that Phi pick send for him didn't jump.
REGRETS: Not getting a better PG earlier in the year. Snagged Conley late, Maxey just wasn't good enough to start yet.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: SGA - He held it down at the PG spot going 26-5 on 48/45/88 shooting with 3.4 stocks
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: SGA - He made the All-Defensive Team
MOST IMPROVED: SGA - He went from okay to great
SIXTH MAN: Jaden McDaniels - He got moved around in the DC but he even played solid minutes starting at SF for a few sims. Nice stocky boy
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Not much
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Being poopy
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: I prob lost all my trades
REGRETS: None, on to the next one

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Myles Turner. Vaulted up another level last season and averaged 34 ppg with Embiid out for 1/4 of the year. He was also unbelievable in the playoffs and shut down Semi on the other end in our series vs. Charlotte.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Biyombo. He’s a lord and a poor man’s Diop (which is tough considering how little Diop got paid in his SLN career).
MOST IMPROVED: Tyus Jones. Took a huge leap in terms of scoring volume and efficiency. Increased his volume 25% and shot 50/46/94. Must be on the edge of A+ Outside now.
SIXTH MAN: Luke Kornet. Despite spending 1/3 of his minutes at SF, he still had an awesome STOCK:TO and was a perfect backup 3-4-5 for us.
BIGGEST SURPRISE: Turner and Jones continuing to improve. Pretty grateful that happened.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Running into the Hawks again in the postseason. They’ve been out (the league’s?) playoff kryptonite during their run with KD.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Signing Kornet to an MLE and extending him. Hoping he can be a Knick for a long time.
REGRETS: Not trading for a star PG like Tyus sooner!
