The take is just horrible, Joe's is like the most solid 5/10 slice of pizza you'll ever have.

1. Prince St.
2. Rubirosa
3. L'Industrie
4. Idk honestly those three are so good i don't really ever get pizza from other places
Joe's is what you get when you forgot to schedule ahead for NFL sunday and you have people coming over and need like 8 pies with an hour's notice. It's the best version of average football watching pizza

l'Industrie is the best ingredients for any pizza, best topping combos and best sauce. It's average crust I guess? But literally everything else about it is perfect, the crust is like a 10% consideration
totally disagree, crust is like 40% of the pie. texture, taste, chewability. l'industrie's is way too hard and tasteless. i guess l'industrie is good if you want a fig pizza
Goodness gracious. I don't know what planet you buy your pizzas from, but here on Earth the crust is 10-20% of a large pie, depending on thickness of the crust. Here's a chart for reference:

That's on pure surface area basis. But if you were talking in terms of importance, the crust is not square inch for square inch nearly as important as the body of the slice, I'd say maybe half as much so. So you might reach 20% surface area for an 18-20" L'Industrie pie and 10% importance in evaluation. And yes, the fig pizza is a revelation

much like dive bars, the best NYC slice is usually just the one that you like the most within 10 minutes of your apartment

we got good seafood though... we should start something. Dipping sushi in Tzatziki would be some nasty work though

I'll tell you what isn't #1: L'Industrie

Other places I like:
NY Pizza Suprema
Joe & Pats
Prince St
Joe's

Rubirosa tie dye is 🔥🔥🔥

Prince Street hits

Surprising lack of Mama’s Too and John’s on these lists

Joe’s is solid but the lines alone make it not worth it.

Assume Lucali doesn’t apply for these but also think that’s overrated

Lucia in SoHo pleasantly good.

Haven’t tried Scarr’s yet.

10% crust factor is borderline “send him to the whack shack”
