Hope to repeat. Brought back everyone but Brandon Clarke

Edey and Scoot taking major steps forward would be sick. They’re going into year 5 which is where that typically happens

Atlantic: Magic, Mickey Mouse has a LoB
Central: raptors, Bulls tore it down cementing the Raps as the favs
Midwest: Spurs, Mavs look a little thin and LaMelo is really good
Pacific: Suns, idk who is on the Kings and the Sonics took a step back
5. Name a deep cut player stip from league history that you loved.
I thought Yi’s stip was fun. Can only imagine the outcry if you got slapped with the negative penalty

Honestly didn't look at all - didn't have a pick until 29
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Pretty blah. We retained everyone important on what I think are pretty marketable deals, but didn't add anything exciting.
3. Thoughts on TC?
I was really hoping to see some more organic outside development from VJ. He shot it fine last year and got a big inside bump via camps / freebie, so hoping for some efficiency gains to go with the volume increases. Lauri went -1 in defense and rebounding which I think I expected realizing he was very low flat B in both, but still a bummer. Basically everyone else has hung steady.
4. Who wins each division and WHY?
Atlantic: Magic. Maybe a boring pick but I think Merv makes it work cap-wise for another year. Looks to be a very tough division.
Central: Raptors. Insane roster.
Midwest: Mavericks. Have a feeling Hoff will move whoever he needs to to make it work this year.
Pacific: Suns. Frontcourt looks good enough and I'm braced for a big year from Harper.
5. Name a deep cut player stip from league history that you loved.
The Morrii stip, what it resulted in that draft, and then the ensuing confusion when their ratings changed.
6. Who are the top 5 most valuable players in the league right now (include age, production, contract - no rookies)?
Went top five with no rookie deals: Wemby, Thompson twins, Jalen Green, Jalen Suggs
7. Who's the most underrated player in the league (can't be on your own team)?
Otto Porter Jr. Gets basically no love on the boards and has been a top 10 player the last 5 or 6 seasons.
8. What was the best deal/move you thought any single team made for their franchise this offseason and why?
Raptors / Suns deal for Markelle - great deal for both sides. Jeremy cashed in a couple high lotto picks he probably could not pay for a top PG with a ready to win team, and Tyler spreads out the Markelle cap hit into a few exciting young guys, in what was a very tight situation
9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
Full season of Steph and Jimmy should be pretty good. 49ers seem set up for another hell season. Would have liked to see the Giants not drop the last two to the Dodgers. Fun watching LeBron try to make things uncomfy in LA though.

1. Draft thoughts? Sleepers, busts, your draft, other drafts, whatever.
Surprised JJ Andrews kept falling, so im glad i was able to buy back into the 2nd and snag him. Miika looks like a stud, so good on Nick for buying in and getting him. I think i was surprised with GX doubling down w/ another PF after taking Koehler last yr but if thats what his board was then no problem there. Outside of that i guess Derek snagging Funchess was legit. I nearly snagged him at 18 but i liked the long term pot of Collins. GS is a factory for Duke wings at this point.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Keeping Hartenstein was of the utmost importance so im glad that worked out. Without him, who knows? Yuh know? No but it was pretty funny seeing that retirings list and realizing a 5 ex or current Warriors had retired. One being at each position. Makes me wonder what a lineup of Jrue/Dipo/Tobias/Muscala/Black couldve done together lol. I told JWoo that i had zero goals for this team currently. Just vibe out this season and see what happens. To answer the question, yes we believe in Boogie and Egor as our PG rotation…until we get Delly fever.
3. Thoughts on TC?
Pretty good yeah? My team, i thought it was decent. You have Boogie going Bananas on the Fland of course. Tatum being flat A outside is legit. Zu staying at A/A two yrs in a row seems legit. Precious improved. Egor improved. Collins improving on Def and now showing A pot without a camp. JJ improved organically in Handles and then got another boost from a camp, should be fun in NDL. Then some negatives like Mikal going down in def and Okoro going down in inside. Not back breaking but it still hurts.
4. Who wins each division and WHY?
Atlantic: Magic, even though i think Boston will be surprisingly nasty this year. We are crowning a Raptors-Mavs final already but are we forgetting the Magic colors being used in the file currently?
Central: Raptors, Fultz/Amen/CMB/Wemby is scary.
Midwest: Spurs. I get the Mavs trades, and Hoff will probs win GMOTY but Jordo has so much more depth and the reigning MVP.
Pacific: SoNicks. Funny how all you cried about Nick deserving GMOTY and then instantly flip back to voting for the Suns. Is it wrong to think Castle is a better prospect than Harper rn? Most of you seem to think so. The Sadness just came in first in the conference and they look to repeat.

My first experience was the Eddie Griffin stip, so ill go w that. Honorable mention(s): Ball stip bc we still dk what tf it was & Kyrie, simply bc Kyries agent had to LMK that he will never play for the Golden State Warriors.

8. What was the best deal/move you thought any single team made for their franchise this offseason and why?
Either Jwoo trading for Fultz, Cavs trading for Brunson, or Hoff trading for Luka. Fultz is probably the third best PG after Luka and Lamelo, so adding him to this team for a relatively cheap package is phenomenal. MFA adding Brunson(elite PG) to this budding team could be a legit tide-changing move that takes the Cavs from a lottery team to the playoffs instantly. Now i view the Luka trade in two ways. The first being Hoff is now a title contender because he snagged the best player in the file. His team looked good but now the superstar trio looks scary w/ Luka at the helm. Now for Matt, what a flip into a reset. I think the package he got is reminiscent of the SGA trade IRL. Now he has the ammo, but what can he do w it.

Traded away my late lotto pick in this draft so didn't pay super close attention, although i do think Maker-Bol has a lot of promise as a SF potentially. Will be curious to see how he gets camped. Stokes is going to be incredible and the McCoy stip is a lot of fun. Nice draft from the sim god.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Our offseason included us securing an asset I've been lusting after for 8 seasons...only to see him go -3 in TC. Hopefully Justise is still effective and we can make an improvement on our 49 wins from last year.
3. Thoughts on TC?
Sad about Justise and some of our other older fellas (@Lonnie Walker - since when is 29 old??), but very pumped about the progress from Reed and our 2 NDL studs, Evans and Moreno. Let's make a run this year and see if it makes sense to retool more and get a bit younger.
4. Who wins each division and WHY?
Atlantic: Celtics! Everyone picking the Magic is great bulletin board material for us.
Central: Raptors year. No question.
Midwest: Mavericks. Spurs and Grizz should be competitive but nobody else seems to be doing much this offseason.
Pacific: Clippers. Contrarian pick like Woo on ESPN!

Hot take but it's definitely D-Lo. Nobody talks about him but he's close to a perfect PG!

Sixers move for Jokic made a lot of sense for them - they could buy low without depleting their limited resources and get out of the fight for the 8 seed in the East. But the real answer is probably the Raptors trading for Fultz after that pick jumped in the lotto - no brainer perfect fit for their dynasty.

It's crazy that it's not football season yet. Tatum's Achilles still feels like some kind of fever dream.

Would love to see Mccoy turn into Tony parker, his notes looked very similar, but the stip is a lot of fun. Letting Nick get his hands on Mikka who could be a mini dirk who might actually play d and rebound at the 3 was a fun development for the league.
2. How do you feel about your offseason, and what are your goals for this coming season?
Not much that I could do, may as well take the flier on Bronny while his pops hangs around, I was surprised Lebron didnt retire but I guess hes done after this season (?) since hes turning 44. Post lebron trade we went 17-3 and made it to G7 of the WCF so hopefully the same exact core produces similar results.
3. Thoughts on TC?
Worse than I expected, seeing McDaniels go -2 was less than ideal but I honestly think is over the hood ratings reflect a more realistic picture of where he is. Derik Queen went +2 in his final RC and looks pretty promising.
4. Who wins each division and WHY?
Atlantic: Magic, champs till they aint.
Central: Raptors
Midwest: Spurs
Pacific: Sonics
5. Name a deep cut player stip from league history that you loved.
Big Z, created so much league lore.
6. Who are the top 5 most valuable players in the league right now (include age, production, contract - no rookies)?
Jaden McDaniels, Wemby, Amen, Rui, Lamelo

Amen
8. What was the best deal/move you thought any single team made for their franchise this offseason and why?
Easily Fultz to the raptors. Immediate Title contenders.
9. Thoughts on your real life sports team(s).
I would literally take a 6-3 steelers vs. jaguars thursday night football game if it meant i got to watch real football right now.
10. Movies, TV, books, games, whatever recommendations.
The QB show on netflix is scratching the aforementioned itch above.
