I voted GX, Hoff, Skittles.

Thought GX’s turnaround was the classic flip the switch case, which was even harder to do with the Kyrie vetoed trade. Loved the pro activity of getting guys at day 99 last year.

Hoff did some wild stuff trading his best player and somehow staying a top of the west.

Loved Skittles moves too, buying at the right price for Luka and AD, thought his record should’ve been way better given his differential

Voted for Hoff because of the aggregate value he picked up - was able to trade luka, set his team up for long-term success, and still improve on last year while adding several picks in the process. Seemed to be the highest degree of difficulty. I thought he made one too many trade(s) at the deadline and didn't understand his last move, so almost pulled the vote for that reason!

Kittles and GX were next for meeee

Voted manty, Hoff, kittles. Thought manty switching to balanced was a good decision and brought his team to the next level, stellar season out of his entire team despite injuries. Hoff did a phenomenal job pivoting from Luka and adding value to his team. And kittles put the foot on the gas for a bit and would have been higher if his team performed to what I thought

I voted Hoff, Manty, GX. Thought Hoffs team shuffle to get most his picks back, inject some youth into the team, and stay atop the West was impressive. Manty for the YoY team building that culminated this year with a dominant team. Didn't love GXs initial MPJ trade but the second one earned him a spot on the podium for me.

I voted GX, Manty, Hoff. GX executed well on the switch flip and should be well positioned for another year or two at least. I also didn’t love the MPJ move but moving on from him quickly was great.

Manty also did a great job largely sticking to the core but tweaking the DC / tactics to become the juggernaut they were. And Hoff made big interesting moves while remaining competitive too

Voted for GX

He had the stereotypical switch flip. He was gifted by ashes to not get Kyrie. The MPJ trade was ill advised but sending him to a conference rival and getting AG back without moving any legit prospects was good

voted for Hoff. thought he had one of the better GMing seasons in recent memory. very high difficulty to make that volume of trades, sending out stars for oft-forgotten players, bring in the value he did, and still win the West.

Crazy year where I truly believe that 4 people couldve walked away with this award.
My Votes:
1)GX
2)Manty
3)Kittles
I really felt bad leaving Hoff off my list. I think what he did in flipping out his whole squad and getting even better showed his true prowess as an Elite SLN GM. He attacked the season with vigor and turned the Mavs into the #1 seed. Alas, I voted based on YoY differential for the 1 & 2 votes. I think I gave Kittles the edge for 3, simply based on the old idea of flipping into a winning team. Truly didnt know how to balance the vote for committee members because i knew someone would get ticked off. Did I vote GX #1 because he was taking the votes? Who knows but here we are. If im still on the committee and we have multiple members in contention, ill probably just stand up to the plate and be the chair for once.
