Notes for "the Other Guys"
Centers
Chris Andersen - Good athleticism. Takes care of the ball. Nice shot-blocking big man. Some rebounding ability.
Calvin Booth - Great shot-blocker and defender. Solid jump shot. Lacking in every other area. Getting his rebounding serviceable will be challenging.
Jeff Foster - Decent post defender and surprises opposing forwards with his quick hands. Great rebounder. No offensive game.
Francisco Elson - Good jump shot for a big man. Doesn't finish well on the inside. Good all-around defender and a very solid rebounder. Could be a nice 3rd big man.
Power Forwards
Kenny Thomas - Decent scoring big man that can finish in the paint and hit 14 footers. Maybe some steals. Good handles, strength, and decent rebounding.
Michael Ruffin - Sneaky good defender with no offensive game to speak of. Probably a block and a steal a game. Rebounding is okay, but needs work. Slow.
Small Forwards
James Posey - Good 3 and D kind of guy. Volume isn't the best. Steals and perimeter defense are strong. Good strength with decent rebounding. Could be that round out starter for a squad in need of shooting and defense.
Jonathan Bender - Extremely raw. Upside is questionable. Offensive game needs a lot of work. Surprisingly good shot-blocker, but needs to hit the weight room if he's lined up against 4s. Lot of tools to develop, could be good, could never pan out. Who knows?
Wally Szczerbiak - Good shooter. Decent inside scoring. Not a good defender. Good handles with decent quickness. Strong.
Jumaine Jones - Good man defender with solid rebounding. Jump shot is okay, but 3P needs work. Maybe a solid rotation guy.
Devean George - Slightly better shooter than Jumaine Jones. Decent steals and perimeter defense. Solid rebounder. Same mold as Jumaine basically, but with maybe a tad more value created.
Shooting Guards
Corey Maggette - Decent offensive guard who won't provide any defense. Good finisher on the inside with solid athleticism. Jump shot is decent but his range needs work. Good rebounder at the 2. Has the strength to play the 3.
Raja Bell - Can hit some shots. Positional defense is okay, but very little stocks. Good quickness.
Gordan Giricek - Excellent jump shot with some ability to finish in the paint. Might get a steal, but otherwise a lackluster defender. Strength and rebounding are pretty absent.
Dion Glover - Actually pretty well-rounded under the hood. Decent scoring, okay jumpshot, solid steals. Good strength, quickness, and handling.
Laron Profit - The first sim league I was in back in 2002, Laron Profit was an absolute stud. No clue why. Don't expect that here but has some decent stuff to work with for an NDL stash.
Point Guards
Andre Miller - Rounding out an incredibly thin PG class is Andre Miller, a guy who always annoyed me for some reason. Just always seemed to be money backing down opposing PGs. Decent finishing on the inside with a great jump shot. Solid handles and court vision. Decent quickness with good strength for a PG. Rebounding isn't unsalvageable and he should get some steals.
Milt Palacio - I dunno, I felt Andre was lonely here.
Centers
