TL;DR - free RPs for a quick post!

Get these done before the tip of next season!

Every year, every GM's got his studs and it's duds, his craftiest moves and most embarrassing flops. For 75RPs, fill out the answers to the following questions and post it in the thread - think of these as your post-season Dundies, awarding each of the first 4 to players on your team, and then reflect on some of the key moments from your year. Post these whenever! Just get em done by season tip. Offseason questionnaire will be posted later on.

Once you've posted, DO NOT claim your RP in the RP thread - we will calculate at the end.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Linsanity - now to be fair, i think he is still mid for most the season but that Stip is amazing to experience.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Brook Lopez - i think he finally turned a corner and will do some great things in the future for someone.

MOST IMPROVED: Tobias Harris - my guy tobi just keeps grinding and keeps surprising with whatever role he is given. Need more consistency though.

SIXTH MAN: Wilson Chandler - i think he did admirably holding down the super sub role of 2-4 which ive never tried with a player, so good on him.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Larry Sanders - “Sanders doesnt look good”, “why didnt you camp him?”. Dude all Larry Sanders did was supply the same stats that teams pay a big 6m for. Larry dont give a fuck, he is a baller and a big butt of the highest order.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Carlos Delfino - going from B- to C+ really changed his output and it was mind blowing.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Lavoy Allen - FBB injured Lavoy because they werent ready for his dominance yet.

REGRETS: Probably not trading Lin when i had the chance. I am unsure if I will go balls to the wall to resign him and i knew based on my rebuild it was probs best to trade him and move along.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Jrue Holiday. He made a gigantic leap, and in my opinion one of the best players in SLN now. He shot efficiently, didn’t turn the ball over, and got steals. Very surprised by his volume as well! I love him!

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: AK. He should be in the running for actual DPOY every season. Again, averaging 5stocks per game at SF. Some GMs even think he could be even better at PF.

MOST IMPROVED: This is a toss up between Jrue Holiday and Rudy Fernandez. Jrue’s improvement was expected since I’ve invested so much into him. Rudy’s was a complete surprise, and now he’s one of the most prolific scorers in SLN. Hopefully, they both keep up this improvement!

SIXTH MAN: Derrick Williams. He’s a really good defender and scores the ball efficiently as well as a good rebounder. I like how he’s progressed and think he can get better.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Rudy Fernandez’s scoring ability and TC jump. Damn is he good, and now he resigned to a good long-term deal!!

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Not getting out of the first round. I thought the team was really good this season. Getting the 2nd seed would have been an amazing jump but lost the tie breaker to Houston.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Receiving Rudy, Thabeet, and Anderson for Francis and 2 okay to bad firsts!

REGRETS: Not trading for PP when I had the chance. If I got him, we would’ve had a real shot to win it all

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER:
There could be an MVP for this?! Cory Joseph was okay, then we traded him. I guess Terrence Ross. I thought he was a lot better than I expected him to be and earned another +8 camp. Would be fun if he ended up becoming someone who survives the eventual rise.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
Shawn Marion. This stocky dude probably single-handedly won a few too many games for the tanking Magic. PLEASE GET HIM OFF MY TEAM!
MOST IMPROVED:
I'm going to go with John Henson. I really didn't know if he'd be any good and thought he might've just been some flotsam.
His block rate is pretty spicy, the rebounds could be worse for a 2nd year guy and he jumped to A- on defense at center.

SIXTH MAN:
Terrence Ross. He's turning into real life Human Torch
BIGGEST SURPRISE:
Starting about 0-13 then somehow still winning 19 games. Psycho T was also very surprising. Featured him in my last 8 games and dare I say it, his stat line looked like Kevin Love with a similar defensive rating
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT:
The final sim.
TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR:
I'm torn between the Bogut deal which helped land Anthony Bennett and Julius Randle with another pick coming and the Clack/Redd deal which through a series of move brought us DET 19, John Henson, and Tyler Hansbrough
REGRETS:
Winning so many games

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Michael Beasley. Beas's line: 28.9 and 8.3 with 1.5 TO on .465/.866/.417. Carmelo Anthony's line: 29.6 and 6.9 with 1.1 TO on 473/.876/.423. Put some respek on BeasGod's name!

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Emeka Okafor. Dude is as big a butt as they come...we rolled through the regular season and then fell apart in Round 1 when he got a 50 day injury in the last sim. Poor timing, great player.

MOST IMPROVED: Paul George! Love what PG did this year. He improved in literally every category, with volume up, efficiency way up (esp from 3) TOs down, and steals up to 5th best mark in the league - finally earned himself a spot among the league's true elite SGs.

SIXTH MAN: Ryan Gomes. Was awesome for us as the backup 2/3, scoring efficiently and leading the rebounding in the backcourt for our second unit. Good fit with the rest of our board-dominant team.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: 58 wins! I think we got a bit lucky and were maybe more like a 55-win team, but the East is tough and we way outperformed my preseason expectations. We were weirdly better on the road than at home, which is something I haven't seen before from a team that earned a 1 seed.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Emeka's injury. I really thought we had as good a shot at a title as ever once we continued to pull away in the East during the regular season, but his importance to our winning became pretty obvious once he was hurt.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: I'll say Petro here - awesome deal for a great prime big butt who hates shooting the ball and posted a 4:1 stock to TO as a starter. Not bad for an RP acquisition.

REGRETS: None! Lets go try again this year

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Derrick Rose. A very efficient 25.4 ppg on 50% shooting and 40% from 3! Maybe with another TC and progression from 3, an outside offense could be a viable option. He hasn’t quite reached where I thought he’d be right now but things are looking up. Boogie was solid too

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Gortitties. 3.8 stocks.

MOST IMPROVED: D Rose. Went up in just about every category (TOs included unfortunately)

SIXTH MAN: Vooch. Solid production off the bench. 14.1 and 12.3 rpg per 36. Another camp left.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Derozans volume being so low. Gotta get Kobe out of here so demar can start cooking. Only took 869 shots this year and was very efficient. Coach needs to get his confidence up and give him the green light

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: D Rose going down with an injury before the playoffs. Tough not having your best player for your first playoffs in like more than 10 seasons. Think we could’ve had a chance against 1 seeded Blazers.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: I think grabbing Gortat for a first that jwoo can choose to swap with. Shouldn’t be too good of a pick regardless and think I was able to get a pretty solid player out of that asset.

REGRETS: None!

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Jae Crowder - dude was an absolute stud as our first option, averaging 20 PPG on an efficient 46.4% fro mthe field and 41.8% from 3. Had some career high games in points and steals this year.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Probably Rajon Rondo averaging close to 3 steals per game. Second goes to Nerlens for putting up 1.0 steals and 1.2 blocks

MOST IMPROVED: Jae Crowder - he took that leap increasing his points by 8 and increasing his FG percentage. Thomas Robinson also became servicable, one of the better rebounding young bigs in the league

SIXTH MAN: Terrance Jones? He was a stocky guy fr us coming off he bench and we eventually started him down the stretch, was pretty efficient, he will do good things for the Pacers. I just couldnt camp him

BIGGEST SURPRISE: How bad we were even after we we started Rondo. I know we are super young, but golly we were getting the shit kicked out of us every night. Interested to see what the TC will do to this team

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Falling out of the top 2 in this draft. Hope Lavine is the real deal

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Probably trading the Hump Man for TJones, Jerkebo, and Hibbert. I was only somehow able to get RP out of Jerekbo and TJones, but we did not need Hump at all and sent him to get a ring.

REGRETS: None ever

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Either Kawhi or Caron, both had really nice two way seasons, with almost identical stats. Caron might get the nod because he got all-league third team, Kawhi was solid but to be a franchise cornerstone I still need to see an improvement in volume.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Deandre Jordan, guy was a monster this year with a 4:1 stock/TO. Guy is everything I was hoping for when I gave him that contract.

MOST IMPROVED: Kawhi was really nice post supercamp but I wouldnt say there were massive improvements. It was good to see Kevin Love's usage rise so I would give the nod to him. Shot 47% from the field and averaged 20 and 11.5.

SIXTH MAN: MKG, sad he's no longer with the team but he was really nice filling in as the backup 3/4/5.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Middleton's step back after another positive TC.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: See above

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Ending the year with a bang and finally getting my star point guard

REGRETS: Not trying hard enough to keep my pick in this years draft and sending it out for Parker

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Greg Oden. Hes great. Solid tush. Great posterior. Best Rebounder. Girthy shaft. Great D

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Greg Oden. Hes the best. Superb tush. Prime posterior. Nice Rebounder. Huge shaft. Magnificent D

MOST IMPROVED: Shane Battier. Was learning chinese before shotting 52/52/80 with over 2 stocks

SIXTH MAN: Roy Hibbert, product of no bench

BIGGEST SURPRISE: That lack of another content frenzy to keep the league activity off the bottom floor.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Trading for conley

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Giving and mle to david west

REGRET: posting a regret

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Chris Paul. 1st team all league, 1st team all defense, all around superstar. Heart and soul of the team. Wish he turned it over a hair less but you'll take it with the rest of his production.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Chris Paul and G Wall. Would be Gerald but he only played about 1/4 of the season. Averaging 1.5 steaks and 2.6 blocks, his box scores are always super fun to see. Chris Paul because he was 1st team all D and 3rd in the league in steals.

MOST IMPROVED: Big Lou. This was the first season Lou played full starter minutes (31), compared to his career average of 24. Finished averaging 11.5 rebounds and 2.2 stocks. He's the prototypical big butt with slightly higher TOs then you'd like.

SIXTH MAN: Jason Richardson.J Rich had a career season at 33, averaging the most points on the best efficiency of his career (21.7 on 49/45/90). He was fantastic as our 1-3 supersub with some spot starts sprinkled in for injuries.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Vince Carter. Signed as a vet min VC had a phenomenal year. Ended up starting most of the season at the 3 after G Wall went down. With 53/50/93 shooting splits he was incredibly efficient. Sad to see him retire

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: G Wall. Getting hurt early and for the entire season really sucked.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Both J Rich/Lou Amundson sign and trades. Gave us much needed depth.

REGRETS: Not trying for Tayshaun Prince harder after G Wall went down.
