Draft Profile: Hassan Whiteside
Hassan Whiteside
Strengths: Very strong scorer within 5 feet of the basket. Good shot-blocker. Good defender in the post. Above-average rebounder. Solid strength.
Weaknesses: Not very good from the charity stripe. Very slow. Handles might need a little attention.
Scout's Take: Despite his age, Whiteside is still a bit raw, but his development has been very promising. Scouts really feel like he has an under-the-radar feel coming into the draft and could tempt some teams to even consider him at #1. Excellent upside.
