Is he allowed to be a sub? Or does he have to be a starting PG as his only role?

Westbrook's stip was worded differently: Can and must play PG.

it seems like he can be a supersub, but can only start as a point guard

Might be the only way to make him shoot less/more efficiently

Reading into the stip... does that mean that he can play any position as a backup? Or he must be a starter and can only start at PG?

Will wait for Ashes to confirm, but per LeBron's stip stating he "MUST" start, seems like Simmons can come off the bench.

Remember his main selling points have always been passing, versatility, IQ and transition play more so than scoring. Those things offer a degree of certainty. He’s tricky to peg, but Simmons’s unique strengths keep him atop the board
