Orlando Magic Change of Leadership
The Orlando Magic have announced Steve Kerr and Weremy Jew are no longer members of the organization. We wish them the best in their future and thank them for their contributions to the franchise.
Taking over as head coach, former Lakeland Magic head coach, Mark Diagonal. It is said you couldn’t pick this man out of a lineup. Nobody knows who he is. We just know the guy loves Springsteen and can coach ball with the best of them. He takes over at the tender age of 34 and had many successful seasons running the Lakeland franchise. Diagonal’s staff is comprised of Steve Nash, Jermaine Bash BrO’Neal, Elton Brand, Jose Calderon, Michael Finley, and Fabricio Oberto.
In the front office, former Orlando Magic PG and legend, Jason Hart has been named General Manager. Mostly known for his exploits on the court, Hart rose to league prominence in Orlando as the captain of multiple playoff teams after a successful bench role during Denver’s 2000s era of stocks and boards. He has swiftly risen through the front office ranks of SLN after his retirement and takes over a Magic team in turmoil after a 58 win season.
In other staff announcements: Sam Hinkie has been named Senior Vice President of Basketball Insight and Analysis. Stephen Robertson has been named Senior Vice President of Basketball Strategy and Evaluation. Matthew Bboyd has been named Senior Vice President of Identification. Anthony Parker has been named General Manager of the Lakeland Magic. Kris Clack has been named Head Coach of the Lakeland Magic.
