After a challenging season, we on the Board would like to assure you of our commitment to player's safety while maintaining a high-level of competition that everyone can enjoy. We have heard your concerns and despite the rumors of massive revenue and attendance drops being a motivating factor, we want to stress that in no way did we consider those baseless claims in the recent board vote.
Though an incredibly difficult decision, due to irreconcilable differences, we The Board have voted to remove Ashes from his position as Commissioner of SLN. The Board thanks former Commissioner Ashes for all his hard work and wishes him the best in his future endeavors.
Moving forward we are excited to bring you a new era of SLN and will definitely be with you every step of the way. The future is bright and expect an update in the morning.

I googled The Board and it turns out it's a Kosher caterer in New York City. Honestly this raises more questions than it answers
