Misses his brother is a stip? I looked specifically at the Collins brothers before drafting mcdaniels and they were allowed to go to the NDL, so I pulled the trigger on McDaniels - they both had a similar draft note. Feels like he should be allowed to go?

The Collins bros entered SLN before Ashes instituted the overhead change about stips (someone dug that up recently). Think it's generally very clear/implicit when he gives guys stips. He also said on the last pod we did that McDaniels had a stip (though I don't blame anyone for not listening to that, lol).

For the record - via the "About the NDL" page - Ashes instituted this rule change in 2005

Players with stipulations will not be eligible for the NDL unless that stipulation specifically pertains to the NDL (ie Peja). The reasoning behind this is simple. Many stipulations I give encourage some sort of trial/effort on the GM's part or some amount of randomness. Simply stashing a guy away that's been given this extra care when building them sort of undermines that facet of the game I'm building, so I'm just going to get ahead of the issue and not allow it.
