Welcome Our New Blazers GM, Sam Quady!
The winds of change are blowing through Portland...one of the most exciting young teams in SLN is going to be under new management! Jayant adds his first GM to his own little coaching shrub - he sent across a few words of welcome to be shared with the brotherhood:
We are excited to introduce our new Blazers GM, Sam Quady. Sam hails from Berkeley, CA and is a big Warriors fan; since they're already taken he'll have to settle for inheriting an absolutely stacked Trailblazers squad, talk about nepotism. Let's hope his GM career goes better than some other legacy hires we've seen (cough cough Jeanie Buss). In real life Sam spent several years as a professional chef in restaurants and test kitchens - he stands 6'5 and in the immortal words of Terry Rozier "Quady should have hooped instead of working as a chef cause he tall as hell!" His real life NBA comp is Kelly Olynyk - interpret that how you will.
