Big Baller Bounty
Big Baller Bounty
Starting Sim 4, there will be a bounty thread each sim.
-Each team starts with $$20.
-You will choose one of your upcoming games and bet on your victory.
-The amount you win and take from your bounty will scale with Tiers.
-If two teams select each other, the wager is doubled.
-Tiers will be revised every 20 Days.
-When a team falls to $$0 in the bank, they are eliminated.
-At the end of the season, there will be a reward shop to spend $$ on.
Sample Breakdown:
Same Tier vs Same Tier - 1:1 (Can wager up to $$3)
One Tier Separation - 2:3 / 3:2 (Higher tier wagers $$3 to win $$2 and vice versa)
Two Tier Separation - 1:2 / 2:1 (Higher tier wagers $$2 to win $$1 and vice versa)
Three Tier Separation - 1:3 / 3:1 (Higher tier wagers $3 to win $$1 and vice versa)
Example:
Team: New York Ballers (T1)
Bounty: Phoenix Ballers (T3)
Wager: $$2
(If NY wins, they take $$1 from PHX. If they lose, they give $$2 to PHX. If PHX also chooses NY as their bounty, the wager is effectively $$4/$$2)
Starting Tiers
Tier 1:
New York
Boston
Orlando
Charlotte
Toronto
Atlanta
Utah
Seattle
Tier 2:
Sacramento
Indiana
Milwaukee
San Antonio
Minnesota
Golden State
Los Angeles
Memphis
Tier 3:
Cleveland
Anaheim
Phoenix
Brooklyn
Chicago
Denver
Dallas
Tier 4:
Portland
Miami
Philadelphia
Washington
Detroit
Houston
Final Thoughts: Hopefully this works out in a somewhat fun way. If it ends up being too confusing, oh well I tried. Just pick teams and make bets. If you don't want to participate you don't have to. Yes, this can get chaotic on 10 Day Sims, for example four teams might declare NY as their bounty that sim. Seems fun to me, but we'll see how it plays out in practice. Have fun!
