TEAM AWARDS

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER:
Has to go to PG, my guy popped off last year carrying my team for almost the entirety of it to get 1st seed in the west. Lets see if he can do it again

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
Bam, if i get my dc right and match him up against anybody he locks them tf down. hoping Jakob can take a step forward and solidify my bigs being dominant defensive guys

MOST IMPROVED:
PG, he pooped in every aspect of scoring, went up to 30 ppg, insane efficiency, TOs stayed low

SIXTH MAN:
honestly didnt have great depth and was a little disappointed with CJ miles after he came in but ill give it to him

BIGGEST SURPRISE:
Kyries bum ass for not taking the vaccine, should have seent it coming but still tossed me for a loop

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT:
injuries man, start the season off without kyrie, bring him back and pg breaks his skull, medical specialize the shit out of him and then Gordon is a bitch and gets hurt in the yoffs. just once i would love to see what my entire team can do together

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR:
i think my 3 way trade to get vooch and move eddy drastically helped me stay competitive throughout the season, and then moving vooch at deadline for a little value when kyrie gets back was exactly how i drew it up.

REGRETS:
Cory god damn Joseph, i spent a full bag of rp on cj miles bum ass when i could have paid half for a phenomenal PG. trash trade finding on my part and i wont forget it

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Lou will! hes awesome

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Ben simmons, he was second all team Defense despite missing 1/3 of the season.

MOST IMPROVED: Sullinger. finally might be an average to above average player.

SIXTH MAN: Ben simmons - hes my bench.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Rui being a broken SG

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT:
the O6 for how the handled Lavars FBB. the CaBallers should be stripped of rank for the example they set in supporting Ashes and his machinations. They should have trail blazed the efforts to support him, no matter how shocking the TEMPORARY changes were. They were supposed to lead us! instead we all collectively broke rule number 1, as far as ashes is concerned.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: 76ers getting NDL Suggs. Gonna be a two way superstar for a generation.

REGRETS: Not trading for Aaron Gordon. Woo really liked my offer but I didnt nut up in time.

TEAM AWARDS

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Nikola Jokic! He took another step forward and is a bonafide superstar. Really hoping I can surround him with enough talent to win another title.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Bonga! 4 stocks at PG is awfully juicy despite showing a B defense at SF over the hood last year

MOST IMPROVED: joker took a meaningful leap scoring 5 more points a game and up ticking to B defense at SF

SIXTH MAN: Thad young? He is a nice two player who does all the things you want out of a role player. Just doesn’t score in volume.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: having the best point differential in the division and finishing in 5th place

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: losing to Sonicks in the post season. I have a picture of that ginger fuck next to my bed that I look at every night imagining how I will get my revenge.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: I’m pretty stoked for a full season of Blake griffin. Gave up 3 picks but none of them were distant futures and I think he’s a perfect fit. He also had an insane season last year.

REGRETS: getting a girlfriend who lives across the country and doing 2 grams of mushrooms on SLN draft day with her, resulting in a very poor draft mod performance

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Shabazz Muhammed. He's sick and can clearly play the 2/3 if needed.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Anthony Davis. Monster defensively with a ton of blocks, solid steals, and able to lock down opposing bigs

MOST IMPROVED: Naz Reid. While he didn't play a ton of minutes his advanced metrics ticked up (see mervalytics)

SIXTH MAN: Demar Derozan. He was fine for a 6th man. Great efficiency.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Maxey being as good as he was as a rookie. High hopes for this young-in

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Ant's stats not translating as well as his ratings would have suggested. Got another +2 this offseason so have no doubt he's coming

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Getting AD. Gave up one some may say was a lot. But Zion was a confusing player and had no clue how to SC him.

REGRETS: Prob could have gotten AD for a pick or two less but didn't have the roster spots or RP to take on more rookies so need to shed them one way or another.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Kevin Durant - put up an all time stat line this past year.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Eddy Curry - curry added a dimension we lacked for a long time in shot blocking.

MOST IMPROVED: GP2 - no one really improved a ton but i put GP2 here because i saw how good he was at PG albeit in a small sample size. don’t see him being a huge downgrade from lebrons regular season last year. hope i am right

SIXTH MAN: GP2 - served as out 1-3 backup all year long. while his volume isn’t that good his defense and efficiency made up for it. at the 1 this year his volume should tick up.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Malcolm Brogdon - filled in at starting PG for a little while nearly my whole team was hurt and won me a bunch of games. whoever has him try giving him starter minutes at the 1!

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: none we won 🍾

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: eddy curry - chef 👨🏿‍🍳 does it again at the creaky old age of 38. there’s dust off his kneecaps. dmo get the wd40 ready

REGRETS: none we won 🍾

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: LaMarcus - He was instrumental in us being able to get BBB and BSC $$ as he is a walking double double (per sim lol). Also was definitely our Tank Captain and helped us secure Suggs.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: DJ. Dude is always a monster butt with blocks and boards.

MOST IMPROVED: Will Barton. He actually shot decently well and was used as a scoring option at times.

SIXTH MAN: Christian Wood. Had some great games with terrific efficiency (usually) and some stocks to go along.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: MCW. Everyone loves to shit on the guy but he is actually a baller in a balanced offense and shot incredibly efficient throughout the season.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Yaro. He has not really shown the brilliance that he devastated us with when he was in Toronto, but hoping that changes with a move to SG in the DC.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Got LeBron back which really eases our minds here in Philly.

REGRETS: NO RAGRETS
