Voted for Wes for the same reasons as others - impressive how he navigated some tough breaks to still be a very competitive team. Well done!

Voted Kipke. Made by far the greatest number of "cajones on the table" moves of any GM this year, pivoted very quickly out of what was an extremely rough situation (after investing heavily in the Ball brothers) to win the West handily - 7 wins clear of the 2 seed after being a high lotto pick last year! Somehow did so without having to give up his two coolest role players, Thybulle and Goga.
Shoutout to Weston for making some savvy moves to bring his team from below .500 to the Atlantic title in the second half of the season, and to Matt for making some nice moves on the margin to fill out an already dominant roster.
Edit: Also big shoutout to Quady who navigated having his best player get hurt to put together a solid season with the additions of Shabbazz, Gobert and Powell

Voted for Wessy Wes. A lesser AD owner would’ve folded

My order of GMOTY is:
1.) Kipke
2.) Hoff
3.) Matt
4.) Wes
Wes made shrewd moves to overcome a brutal Ant injury. Winning the Atlantic was definitely a surprise and he def deserves flowers for the Linsanity deal to propel the squad to first place.
Matt's Bulls were maybe the best team we have seen since *checks notes* last year's Hawks and 67 wins feels ridiculous to send a vote elsewhere but I think the Rose signing was more a stroke of luck rather than active management. The Blake Griffin trade on the other hand was active management. He is so much better than Arson Kazemi and he paid like 400 RP. Blake is so underrated, how many A- inside A- defense A- rebounding bigs are left in this league??? Crazy to me how no one seems to value this two way force.
Hoff went 22-10 and snuck into the playoffs after the Kyrie trade. That trade will open up a contending window for the mavericks for the next 5 years with their bigs about to be SC'd TC'd into stardom. He has a massive sack of picks left and I expect major upgrades this offseason. I'm not sure anyone added more long term championship equity to their org than the Mavs.
Ultimately voting for Kipke as his deals for two superstars while keeping Goga were seemingly witchcraft. Kelly Oubre is also so nice and the perfect player to compliment Kawhi / Embiid. Really good work here and a tanker to 57 wins is a super clean flip switch.

Between Kipke and Wes. Kipke made major moves to bring in 4/5 new starters while not overleveraging himself. However, I do think some of the trades were considered overpays even if that's what you have to do to trade for star players.
Wes didn't make many moves, but the moves he did had a large impact on his season. I for sure did not expect the Bullets to win the division especially with Ant out for a major portion of the season.
Ultimately voted for Wes.

Voted for Hoff. snuck into the playoffs after pulling off a massive deal and getting picks (??) to take on a known game breaking superstar in Kyrie, and I also loved the value of his lamelo deal. I think he has a monster back court setup for himself for the future and managed to maneuver around those deals without really leveraging anything of value or parting with blue chip pieces.
GMOTY - 2022/23
I voted for the Stone Man (Weston) because of the moves that he made over the past two seasons to boost his team (like AD and Winslow) into the contender-sphere. He also showed a great ability to win even without Anthony Edwards for the majority of the season. He is in line to bring some heat to his next opponent, whoever it may be, but I honestly think he has a shot at getting past either ATL or CHI to try and win their first chip!

Voted Wes! Such a cool season, love the Lin trade at the end of the year, very strategic. Kind of a sneaky fun Anthony Davis year as well.
Anyone notice how much better the Cavs got to end the year post lavine trade? I did cuz I have Mantys pick, now they have a fun little bag to play with.
Shouts to my Tree Papi Kipke, Matt and Clint too, you guys smashed it.
