TL;DR - free RPs for a quick post! Sorry for being late.

Every year, every GM's got his studs and it's duds, his craftiest moves and most embarrassing flops. For 75RPs, fill out the answers to the following questions and post it in the thread - think of these as your post-season Dundies, awarding each of the first 4 to players on your team, and then reflect on some of the key moments from your year. Post these whenever! Just get em done before sim 1. Offseason questionnaire will be posted later on.

Once you've posted, DO NOT claim your RP in the RP thread - we will calculate at the end.

TEAM AWARDS

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Wemby, dat boi nice

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Also Wemby even tho his blocks were a little down in the regular season

MOST IMPROVED: CMB, he made a quiet but significant jump and was able to carry us as an option through various injuries, raised his game

SIXTH MAN: I guess this was Ayton before his untimely death. So probably Toumani

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Wasn’t sure how well our depth was going to hold up during the season but we were able to stay competitive through a lot of annoying various injury stretches to Wemby Traore Amen and Ayton. Fortunate we ultimately won enough games to hang onto the division and have home court for most of the playoffs

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Ayton breaking his skull which forced my hand to have to deal him earlier than I wanted to. But fortunately that trade worked out.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: I guess Otto Porter? I’m assuming he’s gonna retire but he was an awesome fifth starter and fit what we were doing really well

REGRETS: None other than maybe not pivoting to outside offense earlier but w/e.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Karim Lopez, what a lad. Can't wait to see the rest of his career unfold.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Kevon Looney still the best pure butt in the league at 34 years old. Only player in the league with negative net possessions used.

MOST IMPROVED: Karim Lopez, supercamp hit!

SIXTH MAN: Dooney Johnson, played literally every position through the course of the season.

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Not being better than 42 wins.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Not being better than 42 wins.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Sengun and a pick for Cam Boozer, was happy to align timelines and contracts better even though Sengun is probably better right now.

REGRETS: Maybe not soft tanking for another season? So it goes!

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Ant, then Tatum, then DLo
Even though Ant was only with us for 15 days he was putting up career numbers across the board highlighted by a massive drop in TO/game. We miss him. Once he left Tatum had the green light and boy did he chuck. Once we shipped Tatum out DLo came in and was wildly efficient at the 2.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Flory
1 steal and 1 block a game at the 3 for a rookie was nice to see. Hoping the +8 pot he got last offseason really helps him bloom.

MOST IMPROVED: Ant
He got so much better, sucks we didn't have many other winning pieces to keep him and try and compete.

SIXTH MAN: Podz.
He was very efficient off the bench

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Hayes putting up 20+ ppg. Didn't think a flat C inside guy had it in him.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Mo Sylla
He should be better at rebounding for an A- guy, guess he's weak af?

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Carter and Allen for a future Por pick.
Warriors fleeced us for Ant so I guess getting a future 1st for some of our other role players was a win.

REGRETS: Not getting more for Ant

TEAM AWARDS

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Chet! Still a two-way beast.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Walker Kessler. Posted career highs in blocks and rebounds

MOST IMPROVED: Kessler! But I'll toss Josiah Brooks a look just because of his insane camp

SIXTH MAN: Chuma. Offense wasn't great but defense and rebounding were awesome

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Kessler's pop on defense after a down year least year

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: Missing the playoffs by a lot despite having a positive point differential. Miserable close game luck and opponent shooting.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: Obi Toppin - nice add

REGRETS: Not having time to make any trades this year
Celtics ah the balls

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: Okogie - absolute monster, never turns it over

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: black - steal god

MOST IMPROVED: Ausar, huge bounce back year, positive TC really showed

SIXTH MAN: AJ - he’s just ok though

BIGGEST SURPRISE: Thought we’d take a bigger step back, but we got the 3 seed again

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: late Okogie injury, very tough to win first round without him and losing him for any games against the raps is a nightmare.

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR: French cooper Flagg I guess

REGRETS: none
FOR THE LAND - believe!

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER:
Darius Adams is a baller. 50 burgers for breakfast.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
Lively played outstanding defense the entire year.

MOST IMPROVED:
Darius Adams. Turning in season of pure volume is exactly what i expected. Looking to surround him with the necessary pieces to win games.

SIXTH MAN:
Draydne McDaniel played great basketball for a rookie and think he can be one of the best 3pt shooters in the league.

BIGGEST SURPRISE:
Deciding to trade Boozer. It was a tough one but i went where the value was.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT:
Zero, Zilch, NADA

TRADE/ACQUISITION OF THE YEAR:
Deciding to blow it up and take advantage of the macro.

REGRETS:
0
Welcome to Atlanta where the playas play
And we ride on dem thangs like ev-ery day
Big beats, hit streets, see gangstahs roamin'
And parties don't stop 'til eight in the Monin
